well, what a convenient surprise.

a few hours ago, i strolled to my fridge in hopes of finding something to eat, when i stumble upon a full bottle of cough syrup sitting next to the mustard and ketchup. i was excited to say the least, even though it's COUGH SYRUP with a weak opiate, or opiod, w/e it is. but i can't be mad, for this may provide a fun evening. it says 6.25 / 10 promethazine / codeine on the bottle, so that must dictate 6.25m of promethazine and 10mg of codeine / 5ml.

now, the problem i have is, i have no idea as to how much i should guzzle down. would 5ml be about a tea spoon? or maybe it's a table spoon? in addition, i have absolutely no tolerance to opiates, since i haven't done any in almost a year. how much of this would i have to take down in order to obtain significantly satisfying results? not too much, but not too little, either.

so if it's ok, if one of you who has had experience with this, to give me some simple input. thank you, this is greatly appreciated.

The promethazine-codeine ratio is too high. Unless you want to go delerious before you get any actual pleasurable effects, I'd say to just leave it alone.

Under 120mg of Codeine isn't really worth doing imo, unless you're just trying to get to sleep.

I'm not sure about Promethazine, and how much one can take without getting sick.

As for 5mL, doesn't the bottle have a measuring cup on the top? I'm imagining it would be a rather full tablespoon, but it's hard to judge. You're gonna want a measuring device of some form to retain any sense of accuracy at all.

I don't touch the shit, but when i hear about people taking cough syrup, i hear about them taking it by the bottle, not the table spoon. So either throw the shit away or start chuggin'.

yeah well, i had some last night, about 4 table spoons, maybe 5. and shit, did it taste nasty. it really didn't do much but get me very tired, and hungry. i didn't get any bad effects from it, except waking up kind of groggy and pissed off for about 20 minutes.

so yeah, 2 oz w/ some sprite should do it? that's about 4 FULL table spoons, i think i half-assed mine last night, the taste was repulsive.
