Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more!

Default PLEASE HELP! 360 problems

What's up guys? I just got home and i turned on my 360, put my dog in her bed and locked my house up. I go back to my room to see my 360 ready to play. I start a game of lone wolves and immediately i realize something is wrong. The quality of the game is just shit, visually speaking. I win the game, turn off my 360, and now there is no sign of any signal from the 360 except the sounds of the game coming outta the speakers.

Do any of yall have any idea what might be the problem? Or have any of yall had similar problems?

What do you mean by this? Are you saying that after turning the console on again you're getting a blank screen but you're getting sound?

Also what do you mean the quality is shit?

I was playing snowbound and the snow instead of looking like it had some kind of texture, it was all monotonous. The quality was comparable to a ps2 game. It's kind of hard to explain, but if you looked at it you would be like, "There's something not right."

A lot of games look like shit on the 360. I am used to PC gaming, and when i got a 360 i found almost every game to look like shit.

I read up to there and realized your problem.

You're playing Halo.
