((This was posted on my blog on myspace. It's probably the 5th and last blog I'll ever write since I find the concept of them retarded. Just thought it was something totse could talk about as well))

Chances are if you're reading this then I probably already hate you and I don't even know you. I'm getting so fucking sick of gayspace and EVERYONE on it who just breeds in their own self gloat. I don't even know WHY I log in to myspace anymore, because I probably only get a new message/comment/add once every 4 days. I guess it's because I stopped being a myspace whore adding any girl I thought was hott and lived in the Wisconsin/Illinois area. I also stopped commenting these people, stopped looking for bands in my free time, and pretty much stopped using myspace all together besides to check if I had any updates.

The only reason I still use myspace now is to
1. Listen to/Add bands and get updated information on them
2. View other people's pictures
Those are the ONLY reasons. I'll reply to your messages or comments but am I going to waste time trying to get to know all these FAKE ass people? No.

THE NUMBER ONE REASON why I hate myspace is the girls on it. Every week I'll get an add from some girl (aged 14-17). She and every other girl are EXACTLY THE SAME. They're single, looking for some guy to fill a hole in their life. They think getting a boyfriend will fix every problem they have in life, make things better as they hold you in their arms. They wanna have long phone conversations into the night where they can tell each other how much their parents hate them and how much they love each other and how they can't wait to be together.... because that's right, these girls have never met any of the people that they swear they "love".

On numerous occations have I met a girl like this. She compliments me, easily gives out her phone number and tells me she wants to hang out, get to know me, etc. Of course I don't call most of these girls... what's the point? Most of them live too far away to even consider having them as a regular girlfriend. OK I lied. I have called some of them. But really it was just for someone to talk to at that given moment. I mean we all get a little lonely sometimes, and it's nice to have someone listen to you once in a while. But these girls dont stop! They want to talk on the phone EVERY NIGHT as they lay in bed. Why? They're just looking for an excuse to fall in love. Me and these girls, we at most get 2 nights of talking to each other in, and it's done. I might meet someone off of the internet but I sure as hell would never date someone I met online, ESPECIALLY on myspace. And I especially wouldn't fall in love with someone without actually meeting them first.

So why won't I date someone I met on myspace? Because all the girls who would actually meet a guy for dating purposes that they found on myspace are all lonely, emotional 16 year old girls who just want someone to complete them. And I'm not that guy. I don't care what you say... YOU CANT FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE YOUVE NEVER MET. I've talked to most of these girls later .. they got off my back) and they typically get a "boyfriend" within a week of me letting them down. After a few minutes of conversation it's quite clear that these girls have never met said boyfriend, but don't worry, because his name and picture are plastered in the girl's "Who I'd Like To Meet" category and there's typically a countdown as to when their first epic meeting will be (*gag*). Oh don't forget, they have to live at least an hour away, because "all the boys are the same around here". Sorry my pants arnt tight enough and my hair isnt straight enough for you ladies. If you were offended by anything I've written so far then you are part of the problem, I'm sorry to be the one to break the news to you.

People just need to live life. Everyone has problems, you don't need to think you're the only one by displaying it in your novel-of-an-about-me-section. Oh yeah, that's another thing that bugs me... people who consistently edit their profile to keep it up to date. What's to keep up to date? My profile is about as basic as it can be and thats 100% the way it should be. I don't want some stupid profile to explain who I am, I want people to meet the real me and become my real life friend not just another number on some stupid profile site. Besides, who are you trying to impress by displaying a huge list of your fears or depressing moments you've had in your life? Oh that's right... the other people who list the same things. Also... why do people list how long they've been dating so-and-so? I could understand if you were dating for you know, a good ammount of months or a year or two... but for example I've seen "Me and xxxxxxx, together FOREVER 7-18-08". Today is the 20th, think about it. Any reason to display why you've been dating a guy (who once again, you probably havent met in person yet) for only 2 days? And not jsut that, but that youll be together forever? How 16 of you... And god knows you might not be wanted anymore if you don't keep yourself updated with the latest angle shot of yourself!

So you think I'm just jealous? Hardly. I could have easily been an asshole and manipulated any of these girls into "loving" me... the advances are almost too easy sometimes. But I'm NOT an asshole. I can tell who these girls are the second I talk to them, and I stop talking to them because I'm not the one who is going to hurt them. No point in trying to educate them either since they will just as easily find some face on the internet to love for the whole 3 weeks they date. I actually want to earn a girl's affection, so quit making it so damn easy sometimes ladies. With this kind of attitude, you'd think I'm some stud, but I'm not. I haven't had a girlfriend since I was 16. I've "been" with women since but nothing on the level where I would consider them a girlfriend. Sometimes it's shitty, sometimes its lonely, sometimes it's fucking awesome. When I meet the right girl (in person that is) that I want to make a girlfriend, then I'll try. Otherwise, you just have to live life. I'm 19 years old, I only have completed around 1/3rd of my life (hopefully less then that) and realize that getting a girlfriend now isn't a huge priority.

TOO LONG/DIDNT READ: Girls on myspace are emo 16 year olds who need to grow up and live life outside of their profile and realize that not having a boyfriend you can show off isn't the end of the world.
