What stores don't have cameras?
Well recently I've gotten into shoplifting, and I'm wondering what places don't have cameras. I know that spencers doesn't, but I don't feel like going there every time I feel like taking something.

Re: What stores don't have cameras?
Depends on what type of store. With spencers they rely on the store being small enough for 2 or 3 employees to watch and the security tower does the other half.
Cameras are either too costly or they don't even really need them.

Re: What stores don't have cameras?
Almost all stores here have cameras. Even my headshop has them. I've also seen dollar stores that have them.

Re: What stores don't have cameras?
this is all a complete fabrication... right:
I know of a store that has cameras, but rarely, if ever pays anyone to monitor them. At most they have a greeter who will look at their poorly placed (inside the podium). Its pretty obvious if they're watching or not, since they have to take a few steps back and look down. This usually grey shirted person has no control of the position of the camera. Also the large black domed cameras are stationary, and you can figure out where they point with common sense (expensive item, high theft item, register in close proximity). In some stores, managers have PDAs with instore wireless that allow them to monitor the CCTV signal, and in stores with the smaller PTZ dome cameras, they can control the cameras. But again, no one pro-actively monitors the store in my experience.
Now if you're acting shady, taking too long, or they recognize you, the acting manager will probably monitor you. If there's someone following you around in a store uniform or black or red button up, heads up. Also if the greeter eyeballs you as you walk around, heads up again.
if they try to stop you, i suggest you book it. I've seen plenty of stores that get in trouble with the cops for improper arrests, and no one except maybe a manager or 2 have any apprehension training. I've seen it in action.
They WILL follow you to your car though, so I suggest parking in the next lot over, or walking. Essentially, if you can't see the store, thats a good place to park. Just look back over your shoulder halfway there. I was followed once, so I just walked into the mall next door, walked out another set of doors and carefully walked back to the car.
you get the idea. I know its not a store "without CCTV" but a majority of the time, it is a store without CCTV observation. Almost as good. I won't say the store name, to avoid any LP or store staff from googling and finding the message, but its the direct competitor to store with the intials BB that really loves blue and yellow.

Re: What stores don't have cameras?
Service stations, gift shops and convenience stores along the coast (which is pretty much the edge of civilization out there... you could dispose of bodies so easily in those areas) and they either have no cameras or extremely obvious dummy cameras. I was able to get some good knives and food and other things from there when I was alot younger and didn't have much money when we went on holidays there.
