Default Ebay Scam 2.0

hey, right now i have a broken ipod and its original box

say i put it up on ebay for $300 and i write that it is new in box

on my second ebay, i would purchase the ipod and send paypal payment to myself

I would mail off the ipod while getting postage insurance and on both accounts claim that it arrived new in box but after opening it, found it was broken

what do you think?

also the fault is the ipod gets a sad face everytime i turn it on!

If your ipod is has broken down, it will probably have scratches on the surface of the back of it, the insurance detectives are gonna notice. Also, you'll need your second account to come from a different IP address, and considering both bank accounts for the two users would be registered under your name, they'd notice that. Its easy to mess with ebay but impossible to get away with it.

Find rocks/weights/trash that weighs roughly that amount
Send it to him via UPS/DHL/FEDEX/
Don't forget the tracking number
Give paypal the tracking number

Done.

Also this isn't a scam you can do too many times before getting caught (Unless you take proper precautions) but you'll be able to get 1K without getting in trouble easy.
