Say what you like, but the Marshall plan was always a bribe by the yanks to grab European markets and try to shut the soviet union out ahead of the soon to come cold war.
It was a totally selfish act.

Oh yea, Churchill totally knew the US would join a year before they did. (FDR wanted to join the war, but the US public was very isolationist, hence the start of the lend-lease program and the Marshal plan)
In 1940 the US wasn't at war with Germany, the French and British were. You may say all this crap about how they were lent supplies and money, but who fought the war at the time? They were. (or not depending on the time.)

America didn't join until 1941.
Lend-lease didn't start until 1941.
The only mistake is that he put faith in the French.

America is so arrogant about their military, it's pretty amoosing.
They helped win WWII with nukes, since then, every conventional war since then has been one USA fuck up after another.
Maybe you guys should just stick to nuking countries?
