Yeah I been following the events in Zimbabwe since before the official inflation rate was only 70,000%

Now the official inflation rate is 2.2MILLION! (the world bank and other economic analysts claim its higher)

To put that number in perspective...The country with the SECOND highest inflation rate in the world is Burma (yes I still call it Burma, fuck off) with a modest 37% inflation.

Edit: Also, I have no problems with a leader doing land reforms to aid his own majority. But the white farmers have been on those lands for generations. They obviously know how to farm.

If you ganna take land away from the minority whites, and hand it to poor blacks, for fucks sake, MAKE SURE THEY KNOW HOW TO FARM!

Thats how this whole thing got started. To think This country used to be known as the breadbasket of africa, and had the highest growth rate in the region...

In the long run how will they cope? Some form of hyper-mathematics?

OH, and lol at all the people who bought Iraqi Dinar after the liberation. Inflation has practically made it worthless.

At this point there really isnt any fix. Even trying to figure out their inflation rate takes some of the smartest mathematicians in the world. Only 20% of the population is employed. And you better believe their meager salary doesnt get adjusted for the super hyper inflation.

I think I might just get $5US converted to that. I converted it earlier (saw this on BBC's site), and I would be a fucking multi-trillionare. Granted, it would be in a nigh worthless currency, but I would like to be able to say that.

No, you can't.

Granted you'll get $18billion for 1USD, a hamburger over there is like $50 billion.

I doubt it. In fact I would go as far as to say No.
