cooking with marijuana
So I got almost a half ounce and I was thinking about cooking it up maybe inito some brownies. I was wondering if anyone could post a good recipe for them or should I just make firecrackers since they require less weed?

Re: cooking with marijuana
firecrackers I can tell you are worth it.
find my thread about making them, use my method, it should be a page back or so.
besides that, let me pull up a good brownie method:

Re: cooking with marijuana
as long as you cook it right and dont fuck up any cooked goods will be sick.
I also hear that once you have the hash oil, dip some rolling papers or blunts in it. Which wont use up that much oil. And it fucks u up. But i havent done that myself.

Its very easy to fuck it up, make sure you know exactly what your doing before you do it (temp, time, and dose), and have all the materials ready. GL!

Re: cooking with marijuana
Really guys? It isnt that hard...
1) Buy a box of brownie mix at your grocery store that uses cooking oil; not butter.
2) Get everything together (weed, oil, eggs, brownie mix, pan, and pan to cook in.
3) Grind up your weed as fine as possible. Include stems if you want to, but no seeds.
4) Pour a little more than enough oil into a skillet and mix with the ground up weed making sure it is all covered in at least a little bit of oil.
5) Cook on a stove at a low enough temperature to where it is sizzling a little bit but not boiling or smoking. Do this for about 30-45 min. (This step will smell up your house quite a bit.)
6) Strain the oil using a strainer into a mixing bowl with the rest of the ingredients, the same way the package calls for.
7) Follow the directions on the package, let cool after done baking, cut into big enough pieces and enjoy!

Re: cooking with marijuana
I dont understand the business of heating it on a stove first. gets well over 300 degrees in the oven for a while and is mixed with grease/oil.

Re: cooking with marijuana
Wow. A lot of the advice in this thread so far (Other than White Blue Mushrooms. He's the only one that knows the good stuff ;)) are very unpractical ways of getting the full potential of the plant. Cooking oils, even though high in fat, will still not absorb a majority of the cannabinoids in the methods stated.
Cannabutter is easily the most effective method of cooking weed. Plus you can make anything with it that requires butter - which is pretty much any baked good.

Re: cooking with marijuana
I ate a cannabutter/peanutbutter sandwhich that I made with only vaporized weed, there was about half a cup of it. I can safely say this is a very nice experience which is worth the 3 hours I had the butter/weed/water mixture sitting on low on the stove. Everything smelled like weed for hours.
I can imagine this would be quite nice with fresh weed instead of badly vaporized weed from a lightbulb, and more of it.
