What's people being unwilling to work? I mean I just read a thread of some kid that worked three days with a landscaping company. Complaining that he was loading bags of sand and fertilizer and sand into a truck, toting wheelborrows, and digging. And quit.

I mean seriously, what the FUCK did he expect? I mean did he think he'd get onto that job being able to sit around and play computer games?

I've noticed people like this everywhere, not just totse. People are looking for easy money, and not wiling to work a shift, then complain that they're broke and can't pay for shit.

This generation of mine really is pathetic. They think they're going to get on a great paying, cushy job, at the age of 18 with no work experience or education aside from high school.

Why is my generation so fucking lazy? Then they go and complain about the mexicans stealing their jobs.. that they can't work more than three days in anyway. Such a sad state of affairs we have now. Pathetic.

I worked landscaping for 3 years ultimatly becoming a foreman but 2 of those years I was doing labor - and loving it. stupid ass.

He also bitched about the "hot sun".... Wow. Again, what did he expect? I personally love working in the "hot sun." I worked construction for a summer and loved it, hard labor, but there's something I love about being in the sun and working, rather than my last job in a warehouse.

I honestly don't get it. Right now I'd love to have a job right. I don't mind the labor, and i don't see what the problem with having to work for your dollar is. Fuck, I'm sitting here looking around the internet to see if i can find myself a job (it's fucking hard around here) And i see people bitching because they've gotta shovel some dirt and wheel it around. Want repetitive boring ass jobs? I worked at a parrot refuge for about 7 months, because they're fucking birds what need high heat, it was constantly like 35C, and i spent 8 hours a day scraping shit off the ground and feeding birds while they pecked the shit out of me.

I'd kill for that guys job. I've been looking for landscaping/moving work for months, can't find any.

ive been applying for everything i can recently. i dont a job ATM, but i really wish i did. i think part of the laziness is the fact that alot of people's parents baby them nowdays. and with the rise of technology, people dont need to spend the time on things they used to. God forbid you take 20minutes to make some mac & cheese instead of microwaving it....

I would do anything to go back to landscaping. Unfortunatly, I need to get going on my career so now I work indoors in manufacturing. It really sucks because I loved working outside, but the money I'm making now outweighs that. Everything about landscaping is great - the type of work, the excersize you get, and the tan. Some people are just lousy bitches I guess.

I personally love workout outside in the heat. Its just something about working your body all day, your dirty and tired and soaked in sweat, and then you get in that shower, and afterwards you feel awesome.

But, working your life away for a corporation or business that doesn't give a shit about you isn't something we should all take lightly. Alot of people working for shit money and doing alot of work, I can't say I blame them that much. Maybe if it was like in Europe where some places have a 30 hour workweek and you can still live comfortable.

You only get one life, and working most of it away for little more than minimum wage isn't great. Don't get started with the college bullshit. In a country where the top like 4% have most of the money, its just bullshit, thats all. Also don't get started with own they earned it. They didn't.

I'm a carpenter and going through a 3 or 4 year apprenticeship involves some heavy fucking labour. I know several people that have quit just because the work is to hard.

hard work makes you into a man, if nothing else.

my generation is fucking bullshit, not all of them but way to many of them can't work on a car, hell they can't even change a tire. They can't grab a hammer and a saw and do some basic work on their house. They can't fix anything that goes wrong in their house. They complain about virtually every aspect of their lives and then make ridiculous cushy OHS laws and ban kids from playgrounds.
