i had that happen to me twice over stupid shit too. one was for hanging an air freshner on my rear view mirror and the other one was for "driving erratically" cus i had to get into the right turning lane fast because i had to take a right turn. i never had to go to the police station both times and i got .78 and a .69.. just pretend you hate ur life and cooperate and they'll feel bad and let you off.

Look mate, don't bother contesting this unless those three points are the difference between you keeping your license and losing it.

If you can afford to lose 3 points then just put it down to experience and move on. But be fucking careful, next time you need to make a phone-call, pull over. Fancy a drink? Don't drive to the pub/club, walk there or drive to the off-licence and have a party at home.

Always pay your road-tax and always sort out your MOT. Even assuming this was just a one-off you still have to be fucking careful.

Second, you dipshit, in case you and every ignoramus didn't know this, cops and emergency personnel use their cellphones when either A: Their radios are being unreliable or B: they're discussing something serious (like a hate crime or murder, or a juvenile) that they don't want some journalist listening to their police scanner to overhear.
