Rolling Cigarettes
I have been considering starting to roll my own cigarettes for a few reasons. It will help me learn to roll better. Its cheaper. And I feel like it will get me more close to them. Instead of buying them at the store and smoking some cigarettes that were manufactured in a factory in god knows where, i would like to know how much work and technique went into each one and know that it is my product, not a faceless machines.
Anyways how many of you smokers roll your own and is it preferable to buying them from a pack?

Re: Rolling Cigarettes
Its cool at first but it gets old soon. At first you can tell that you are getting better at rolling, then it sort of plateaus, and you dont get better. Thats when the novelty wears off.
Oh yeah I forgot when you roll your own its cool cause you can make them fat as shit if you want.

Re: Rolling Cigarettes
I've been smoking roll-your-owns for a little over a year now, mostly Drum. At first, your lungs are going to hurt like hell until you get used to it. I now prefer Drum over just about anything. Normal cigs just don't seem to do the trick anymore.

Yea, rollies have their place. When you need papers for a joint or even a spliff, then I will usually just get a pack of spirit.
You can't beat tailored cigs though.

My dad used to do this. Saves alot of money.
With my grandma we used to buy empty cigarettes (with filter n everything) stuff the tobaco in this machine that looked like a stapler and just stuff em.

I smoke rollies.
It's so much cheaper, I think rolling tobacco tastes nicer, and people don't keep asking for saves on every cig if you have roll ups.

Yea, my uncle used to do that. I used it once when he wasn't around with some weed, just tore off the filter afterwards. It didn't work out too bad... but I prefer to roll my own.

Re: Rolling Cigarettes
I would buy and use one of those cigarette rolling machines, because it really saves a LOT of money, but its hard for me to find a tobacco to use that i actually like.
