Default Watchmen

This was by far the best graphic novel I've ever read, possibly one of the best books I've ever read.

And now...

I am so freaking excited I want to go see Dark Knight again just so I can watch this trailer on the big screen one more time.

Yeah, this movie looks fucking sweet, and the song they had in it by the Smashing Pumpkins? Magnific!

Cool Re: Watchmen

very nice!

now that dark knight's finally out, i thought i wouldn't have anything else to live for. thank you, watchmen.

i was kinda worried about the graphic novel being translated into a movie. i thought it would come out looking like crap as far as visual effects and the characters go, but it looks like they might have done a good job.

and i'm downloading that smashing pumpkins song as i type this.

Cool Re: Watchmen

Aye, I am looking forward to it.

I am also a fan of the graphic novel. Not the best I have read, but up there.

I thought the trailer looked pretty solid, but I was annoyed by the horrible Smashing Pumpkins song. I hope that's not in the actual soundtrack. I hate Billy Corgan and his whiny, grating voice.

I hope they bring out the full dark and chilling potential of Rorschach as well as Ledger did with the Joker.

I thought the movie was going to be terrible but this trailer gave me goosebumps, I've actually gotten some hope for this.

Great song choice, fit the trailer very well. It always pissed me off that such a good song was stuck being attached to Batman and Robin.

Snyder really knows how to pick songs to go with his trailers. "Just Like You Imagined" was perfect for the 300 trailer, and "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning" is perfect for Watchmen.

As has been said, finally seeing The Dark Knight was kind of bittersweet because I realized there wasn't another movie I was anticipating quite as much (although I really can't wait for The Road), but the Watchmen trailer gave me a new movie to obsess over for a year.
