I have never taken shrooms but I am planning on it this weekend. My dealer said he knows someone who can get me an 8th for $40. I'm splitting it with one other person. If my other friend brings weed then I'll be splitting it with two people. Can anyone tell along the lines of what I should expect. Or maybe stories about your first shroom experience.

Well I dunno, it takes maybe 15-20 minutes to kick. At first you'll feel like you're just VERY blazed, and then you just morph into a trip.

Start out somewhere comfortable, maybe in a room, and before you peak get outside. For me it was difficult to move more than 5 feet, because my first trip was in a room and I just started to get cramped and shit. Not to say it was bad or anything.

Also, grind it up and put it in something. Icecream, pizza ect.

Half an eighth is a perfect dose for first time. Most important thing to remember is stay in a positive mindset, and make sure you are completely free of any obligations or worries during the time you will be tripping. Make sure you know the people you are tripping with, because the people you trip with will have an EXTREME effect on how your trip turns out. Just go to www.erowid.com and read the mushrooms FAQ, read as much as you can about them, and read the first time trip reports with mushrooms. Also, the shroomery is by far the best place for any type of mushroom research.

Exactly what I was going to say. I've only used lemon juice twice, but both times were intense as fuck compared to other trips on the same amount of mush.

ahhh, an 8th for 40 bucks? jeez, where i'm from, they go for 20 bucks an 8th all the time. anything more than that around here is just way too much, but then again, this is california. but yeah dude, 1.75g for each of you on your first time would be cool. but lemme tell ya, a full 8th is amazing, provided you have the right setting, of course. and yeah, weed helps tons, and maybe if you can bring along a tall can, 'cause i've found that helps, too.

(I am not saying its impossible for that to happen, low doses can be extremely powerful, I believe you would need much more experience with psychs and go into the trip with the right intentions, and experience with controlling your trip, etc.)

I actually didn't pay attention to the dosage. Yeah, you're right. I personally had to smoke some weed one time to even get an eigth trip started.

I haven't done shrooms yet, but I have done acid a very good amount of times. I know on acid your emotions are kind of fucked, and I can get pretty pissed fairly easily if I'm with the wrong people. But as far as shrooms go, I don't know if it's the same deal, but I'd say make sure you're with some people you're pretty close to and you get along with really well. Because if you're tripping and someone says something/does something that annoys you, or pisses you off, it can definitely damper your trip and possibly make it less of a mind opening experience. This is just my experience with acid though. Happy Trippin'!!!
