Theres a festival that Im going to that says no liquor allowed, you go and camp there etc etc so Ill be driving in with my truck. They are pretty tough on searches in the sense that they pat down bags, check unsealed bottles of soda/water etc. Any suggestions as to how to get it in? I was thinking of getting some flats of bottled water that are shrink wrapped on the top, heating it with a blow dryer in order to remove some of the bottles and fill em back up, the problem would then be resealing.

just hide it in your pockets. Thats what me an my mates did at the iow fest, didn't ever get searched.

How thoroughly do they search you and your belongings? I'm sure you can think of some obscure hiding places in your truck, or in items you take with you.

Few suggestions:

If you want to do the water bottle idea, go to your local beer making store, they sell resealable lids that fit on screw top plastic bottles. Simply empty the water out then re-seal them with clear liqour.

If you want to bring beer, buy a 12 back of coke or any kind of pop. The ones in the boxes where you can't see any of the cans. Then buy a twelve pack of beer, empty the pop out of the 12 pack and replace it with the beer. Just use some glue to re-seal the top of the box.

If you're driving a truck with a spare tire under the box, you can simply slip a bottle of liqour on top of the spare tire. Make sure you fasten it up there.

If the festival is pretty big they can only search people so much. Just don't act suspicous, be polite and friendly and they probalby won't search you as much.

Vodka in a water or sprite bottle, worked everytime in school atleast anyway.

Buy root beer in glass bottles with metal crimped lids, get rid of root beer, pour in liquor, put lid back on with pliers. THe lids looks liek it wasnt removed.

Could you explain these a bit further? This sounds like a damn good idea.

They search hard enough that Ive seen em' take apart sub boxes and remove spare tires.

I'd break they're fucking jaw if they tried to take apart my sub box.

If they try to search you tell them to suck your dick and walk away. If they're that big of pricks it seems like the festival would suck anyways.



Even better, get drunk then go to the festival.

When I have been to shows like this in the past, I have always just put all my contraband in the trunk with my spare tire.
