Default The Totse Project

Imagine if instead of using Totse as a blog/chatroom/place for fooling around, we all put our time into contributing something useful and utilised Totse to the maximum extent: to help us learn about as much of the world as possible and to become better people. The majority of us are young, with intellectual and creative potential. If we utilised our potential, we could easily work our way into positions of high importance.

We could be diplomats, high ranking officers in armed forces, spies, important businessmen, critically acclaimed writers, influential politicians, musicians and a variety of other positions. Instead of all competing to be the biggest troll, or have the highest post count; we should all be competing to be the most successful. Instead of writing about how fucked up our lives are, we should be encouraging eachother to write about how successful our lives are - to inspire the next generation.

But it's not just about ourselves - this should be a given - it's the fact that if we all managed to get somewhere in life and stayed in communication with one another, we could be a force and pull off the most epic of projects: we could protect the freedoms of the internet, combat corruption, legalise drugs, fuel revolutions; we could influence anything we wanted in politics.

It's all about the butterfly effect. Our actions today could influence millions of people tomorrow.

Yea, that pissed me off too, especially when the response wasn't directly related to the quote.

Smile Re: The Totse Project

So you're looking for an intelligent and organized totse.

Some will tell you it hasn't existed for X years, X usually being just about how long they've been here. Truth is, that totse has never existed.

But that doesn't mean that we can't hope. Do your part and maybe oneday...

We're definitely intelligent on the whole. Even the dumbest posters here are way above the average citizen, and the smartest posters here are VERY smart. I've seen posts here that are unbelievably inspiring, educational and creative.

Organised, haha not really. But it's not even like we need a rigid plan or anything, it'd just be nice to try and inspire fellow users to strive for the best, instead of encouraging idiocy and trollishness.
