I've met hundreds of college students, and graduates who still couldn't spell properly. I mean, I sometimes feel bad I missed out on the whole college experience, but I soon forget all about that when I see some fucking asshole 30 year old graduate misspell some easy word.


The standards are low, REALLY fucking low. Sure it's a very good idea for most to stay in school, but overall, it doesn't mean shit. You aren't smarter for it, because the bar is set SO low, and it won't get you a better job. If some place requires a diploma, you can simply lie to them, I've done it countless times, and even when they demand a copy of it, you can put them off and put them off until you don't need them anymore, and move on.

I'd be willing to bet that the average intellegence of people with a 10th grade education would be considerably less than that of people who've had college educations. Also, although you undoubtably are smarter than some people who have degrees, wouldn't you likely be smarter than you are currently if you had gotten a degree?

Even if this is true, you can't deny the fact that, on average, those who've jumped through the man's hoops (gone through the entirety of the educational system) are more educated than those who have not.
