Anyone else find that in general they do better with chicks that they recently met or are just meeting rather then ones they have known for a long time? I suppose it's the friend zone thing. I find if I start flirting with a girl I have just met or have known for a while but never really talked to I usually get a lot more positive response then if I tried the same shit with one I know pretty well but haven't tried anything with.

You're right, going and meeting new people until you find one that likes you is completely fucking obvious, but if it was REALLY that obvious we wouldn't have all these retards who think that they can't get a girl and feel all shitty about it. Maybe you are failing to realize that there really are people too ugly to get a girl, at least when they are young and great importance is placed on looks. I really think this whole "blame the guys for not getting out" mentality is stupid. Some people are just really ugly, and all the social conditioning in the world wont change that. I also hate the "blame the girls, they are sluts that want to fuck quarterbacks" mentality, which is stupid.

These guys not being able to get girls is often times no one's "fault". It's just how the evolutionary dice were thrown, and it can hardly be helped.

This is a good post, but I dont agree about the ugly stuff. Most guys who can't get girls aren't spectacularly ugly, but they aren't models or fabio men either, that is the problem.

Most guys want hot girls, and most girls want hot guys, who are tall, have great/dominating/funny/musical personalities, and a car. Girls are just so damned picky that 99% of men are no good for them if they are even sligtly hotter than a 6.

Yeah dude it's true, but the reasons are kind of obvious.

If you act cool with a girl you just met, she'll think you're someone she would want to be around.

Meanwhile, girls you've known for years.. have seen you when you were "not so cool," and know who you really are and what they want out of you already.

EDIT: Not many dudes are too ugly to get any chicks, but alot of dudes are too ugly to get any desirable chicks.

Lowering your standards can yield great things, when I was a freshman I had this sort of creepy goal to fuck all of these chicks who could easily go without ever seeing me again.
