if someone decided to shoot it out with the cops, what would happen?

my question is this: if i barricade myself inside the house, and cover the windows with couches, and mattresses, so they cant gas me, what would they do? even swat, i imagine i could get the best of atleast one of them. I would take a chair, and use it for cover, and put a couch in front of the door to slow them down, and just aim for their head. and usually if swat even hears a shot, they'll run like pussies. they'll have body armor, but if i have cover, and they have to just run through the door, they're at a disadvantage.

so i imagine they'll eventually get gas in the house, and try to set it on fire right? thats what it seems like they do to people who get the better of them.

1 against Swat. Face it. They WILL barracade in and gas you. You begin shooting, and they'll fire back after gassing you if necessary.

pathetic, 5 guys with ar15's and shotguns, and body armor, bust the guys door, he shoots once and they turn around and run like pussies. and if i was hidden behind a chair, and they were slowed down, i believe i could hit one in the head. then they would run and burn the house down im guessing. the guy on the show killed his self before they did all that.

I read somewhere about crack dealers being holed up shooting at police from a secured crack "fortress" and they brought in this big mother fucker of a truck and smashed in the walls.....and they were steel reinforced with like a f00t of metal...it was epic.

and there would be no "popping up" you'd have most of your body hidden by the chair, and have the gun aimed head level, and a couch in front of the door to slow them down. and as soon as you see them, you shoot. when they're coming in, they have no idea where you are, or much less actually expect you to try to kill them. so yes they would be at a disadvantage. you pretty much know exactly where the first guys head is going to be.

Bullets go through leather, cotton and plywood so I don't know what a fucking chair is gonna do.

You'd probably leave some small opening or they'd make one just big enough for a tear gas grenade to get through then they'd storm the house.

Even if you did make it where they couldn't throw one in, once they got the door down before they even enter they're throwing in a gas, smoke, or stun grenade.

Nearly 90% of SWAT operations have gone without fatalities. So if killers, gun runners, and big time drug dealers can't kill a single SWAT officer then I highly doubt you could either.

Buy a gas mask before doing this.

When they gas your house, they will wait a few minutes then raid it.

And then you under your bed, and when they come into the room, you shoot the fuckers.

They won't expect it because they think you're gassed. It would help if you had a mannequin or dummy handy to use as a scapegoat.

To closest thing to someone holding off a swatt team I have head about, came from columbia, but those were drug trafficers/FARC rebels, so they don't count. (they are a professional terrorist/rebel/drug group complete with automatics weapons and IEDS).
