I have some good quality powdered kava root from hawaii. I have made the drink (milk and water where you let it steep for a bit, got the recipe from bluelight) and drank it, with very good effects actually, but can not imagine trying to drink it again, which turns me off of trying kava again. Does anyone happen to know any ways you can make a very potent extract, whether its a paste or tincture or what not?
I got some Hawaiian kava "Brew or Chew" for free with it, which is "100% Pure Hawaiian Kava root grown, dried, and packaged in the Hawaiian islands". Should I worry at all about the impurities that have cause liver damage from some brands of kava with this "brew or chew" stuff?
The company that I got the pure root powder (very fine) and this brew or chew root (some powder, some thin wood strips, which I assume(hope) is just root) is Maui Medicinal Herbs Inc. There website is mauimedicinal.com.
Any help on how I could make a extract or something I could consume without gagging would be great, and any info on if the brew or chew could be used in the same way the powdered root is would be appreciated.

Dump a bunch of everclear in with it. You'll get a nice numbing beverage :)

Let it sit for two weeks, and have a chaser ready.
