Network (in)Security Interesting hacks and cracks. Info on firewalls, TCP/IP, encryption, networks, and security. The ins and outs of the phone system, caller services, how things work, what's illegal and what's not, cellular phones, beepers, telephony legislation, the PUC, ISDN, taps, who's listening, and switches. Talking about phones, hacking systems, technical advice, and such is completely LEGAL in the United States -- it's covered by the First Amendment. What's illegal is conspiracy to commit a crime. So if you say something like "Meet me at 2am so we can crack a can" or "I changed my cell phone's number myself" you are criminally liable. Stating "You can crack a can by doing thus-and-so" or "If you wanted to change a cell phone's number, you could do it like so" is perfectly OK. Posting passwords, calling card numbers, or credit card numbers is forbidden on this network. Posting such info will get you booted off the net.

Default Infected .scr

Can trojan servers be .scr (screensaver) files instead of the usual .exe or .bat files? .scr looks a thousand times less suspicious than a .exe or .bat to me.

Someone could bind the trojan server to a .scr.

Ah shit I just went to all this trouble to create a pedobait webpage I had it perfectly planned it was made to get the pedos email address and trick them into downloading the .src server but I found out the free hosting company doesn't allow .src's or .exe's. Is there anyway around this?

The .scr server is binded to jpg so it actually opens up the picture the pedo thinks he's clicking on.

Yes, it's called "getting a real job and not "pedobaiting" to earn your gum money."

Shit I just spend about 10 minutes talking to this sick fuck he was asking me all kinds of sick shit like "Are your nipples hard" and when I tried to send the server he was like "did you send me a virus?". Fuck this. Its a waste of time. These days antiviruses detect the trojans before they even click on them.

A Windows screensaver is just an exe file renamed to end in .scr

As a result, any binder that works on .exe files works on .scr files.

Didn't work unfortunately. It was pro rat I was trying to use but MSN and hotmail detected the server as an unknown virus so I couldn't send it. Is there any way to make trojan servers undetectable when your sending them?

There are a few ways to undetect trojans, rootkits, bots, etc. I might post a tut on that later. However, you SHOULD NOT be using ProRAT. Every single AV i know of detects it. Try the newest version of sharK or PoisonIvy. They're more likely to work better, and be less detected.
