Yup so every summer there is this music festival held in this place called vasa park, anyways its a privately owned park so no cops are allowed inside and this place is filled with any and every drug anyone could want. Personally i like to go to just chill and listen to all the music but this year was quite different from the past three summers. First off friday night i ran into some crazy raver kids from chicago who had the BEST molly i have personally ever had.... night continues on for a while see some other local people i knew from the area... start drinking and of course im not mixing drinks and taking any that pass my way. this is when the night gets interesting turns out one or many drinks i drank had been dosed so around midinight i was tripping balls, rolling my face off and this is when an outrageous lightning storm started to happen (anyone from chicago knows what im talking about from friday night) and this was quite possibly the most inspiring / awestruck moment i have ever had in my life. it was like everything was perfect and i was in the center of the universe, i was feeling all the energy all around me and i felt like i held the key to all the secrets... needless to say Blottopia is a bad ass music festival and if anyone in the midwest loves festivals i highly recomend, its held in vasa park in elgin illinois every july, just that i would share that, oh and i think i took anywhere from 3-6 hits of acid but i dunno cuz i didnt see who dosed me haha

Sounds fucking amazing, i would love to go to a few of these but have no idea how to get informed, of the really good, upcoming events.

Also, im thinking, getting dosed without knowledge has its own special quality. In your experience, how did it compare to self dosing and expecting the trip?

I find that generally speaking people who go to these events bring alot of positive vibes.... and godly music...:D

Edit: on second thought, i just checked out this "mr blotto" fellow.... and i dont like his music, sounds like redneck-rock. Not to say that I'm against him, but its just not my cup of tea. Particularly not what I imagine as a good setting for MDMA, or LSD.
Then again it is MDMA, and/or LSD.... which dam outweighs wherever the fuck you were, as long as it was outdoors.

Where are you from]i live in kane county which is really close by i missed the festival though but i heard there was so much acid there people where trading it for cigs and the rolls there were pure MDMA.

bonnaroo next year... maybe echo project... someone mentioned langerado but i haven't looked it up quite yet...

im right from around elgin man, and as far as the music goes it didnt reallty matter they had a lot of people covering shit from umphreys and sts9 and most people were playing drums and making their own music, and yes it is a bad ass festival and i highly reccomend it. and as far for getting dosed, i dunno it was good cuz everyone else was tripping too, but if i would of gotten dosed outside a festival it would have been a completely different expereience
