how long for OC withdrawl help please
I have been addicted to OC, oxymorphone, dilaudid, and various other pharms for about 6 months doing anywhere from 20mg to 120mg of OC a day. When i couldnt find the old oxy I would gets some dillys or OM to hold me over. When i didnt have enough money for anything strong i would buy or save up perks to keep from getting sick.
This is where I have fucked myself I have never been dopesick I always found a way to get high and just kept postponeing the withdrawl. Now I need to stop for my job, for school and for my life.
I was hopeing someone could tell me how long I shoud expect withdrawls to last from the OC its what i used the most. I currently have a high tolerence requireing at least 40 to 60 miligrams a day. Should I quit cold turkey or ween myself off with perks? All your help is greaty appreciated Thanks in advance for any serious replys. I love totes teaches you things u just cant learn on the street

Beware the methadone son, strong shit, But yeah subs last forever so you'll be able to function normally for most of your day while on them and tapering off, Good luck mate.

Re: how long for OC withdrawl help please
People say that addiction and withdrawal to opiates are all the same.
Not true!
They're all basically the same but some are worse and take longer than others. Oxy is one that is a little worse than heroin. But methadone is the worst!
W/D's should last about a week or two for the physical, but will last most of the rest of your life mentally.
Quitting cold turkey is bullshit. There's no reason to put yourself through that hell if you don't need to. Some people say that they need to go through the pain so that they won't go back. Well, that just doesn't work. I had one friend who quit cold turkey about 5 times over as many years and he always slipped back.
I smoked heroin for over 15 years. I quit by myself and I did it by detoxing [slowly backing off the dosage and lengthening the times between doses]. It took about 2 week, but there was almost no pain at all. I've been off for three years now almost.
Now for those ready to jump up and say: Well yeah it was easy for you, you have morphine and hydrocodone. There was a 6 to 8 month gap between when I quit heroin and when I found the Dr I have who prescribes me the meds.
Good luck.

h0ppin my dude how the fuck have you been
and meta- you really think oc w/ds are worse than that of some quailty dope?
edit- to help with the thread. i am using about $60-80 dollars of dope a day for the last 4 or so months and i felt absolutely horrible without it. friday i did a whole half g of china to the dome, saturday i did 3 buttons ($10 doses that dont even get me high due to tolerance) over the span of the 14 hours i was awake and today i've only done 2 and i feel fine. day by day you can lessen the doses the phsyical part isnt so bad if you can keep your mind from dwelling on it. keep yourself busy, ive been chillin at a lake all day gettin my pale ass a tan heh
