Politics: Left, Right, and Center National, state, regional, and local politics. Who's doing what to whom, and what you can do about it. How-to-get-action messages are encouraged. "How the government fucked up my life" stories are encouraged. Sharing new methods for cheating on taxes is encouraged. Sample "letters to congresscritters" are encouraged. Apathy and "I can't do anything" posts are discouraged. Left, right, centrist, or any other form of political-economic systems are all up for discussion. Be prepared to defend yourself, or at least have a good line of bullshit ready. Extensive quoting of economists and philosophers is frowned upon. We want to hear what YOU have to say, not what some constipated, impotent, dead guy dreamt up while suffering from the DT's over a hundred years ago thought.

Default What is Obamas position on the issues?

Every time I ask an Obama support why they are voting for him, they just get a lost look on their face and say "he's going to change things". People don't even know why they are voting for the man.

At least McCain has offered some decent ideas and has a plan for things. Obama just runs his mouth and he doesn't offer any details on what he plans to do. And now he keeps saying he can "refine" his positions whenever he wants. What the hell?

Actually, I haven't seen McCain offer any more than Obama. Except for the drilling in Anwar thing and gas tax relief which were obviously political bullshit.

Obama has written two books. Perhaps there are a few clues in there, I've never read them.

Why don't you read up about it? I found this website within 5 seconds of me loading google, cleverly entitled "barackobama.com"

McCain has ALSO offered a plan for a new tax system that is close to the fair tax system. A new tax system would do wonders for the economy.

But the democunts will balk at that idea, all they want to do is raise taxes. How could anybody want the Bush tax cuts to not be permanent? It is beyond my imagination.

Are you fucking retarded?

Because they fuck over hard working people (aka everyone who doesn't bring in 1,000,000 a year) and benefit the already privileged...
