Bisexuality question
I've considered myself hetrosexual since I was capable of fathoming sex and its relation to the human experience. However, as of recent, I have started looking at men in terms of pyhsical aesthetics. I know wouldn't have sex with a man, nor would I preform/accept fellatio on/from a man, but I have accepted that I may perhaps kiss a man. Is what I described characteristic of bisexuality? I don't believe so, considering I don't have a sexual attraction to men and really only deem a very miniscule proportion of men as good looking, but I've been indoctrinated by Western society to believe that looking at men sexually or even wanting to kiss a man is characteristic of bisexuality.
I'm not endeavoring for responses because I'm frightened by the feelings I have, just that I'm interested how this forum would react to this aforementioned sexual epiphany. Would you classify me as bisexual?
P.S. I have never masturbated to homosexual pornography

Re: Bisexuality question
Why worry about what it's considered? Just be you and be content with what you decide you are. Our sexuality as a whole is quite unusual in some aspects, but it's the fact most of us repress it due to mainstream society that makes people freak out like you are. Sexual orientation isn't like taking sides in a battle and an act in one direction doesn't mean it defines you. It just means you're just like everyone else but you are actually accepting that nothing is ever decisive when it comes to the human mind.
I hope this makes sense..... or maybe I need some sleep...

Just do what you want, and care about what is important to you, not what others think.

Re: Bisexuality question
Ultimately, I think that's something you have to decide for yourself.
But in terms of textbook definitions, being bisexual means you are willing to have both a sexual and emotional/committed-type relationship with members of both sexes.

Not quite, it means your preference is for both or rather that you have no preference.

So if going for a characteristic set that society would view him as, he is heterosexual that he is only sexually attracted to females, and simply aesthetically attracted to males?

That's just what they taught me in school. But I think that's completely irrelevant when it comes to someone actually "claiming" that....you are what you say you are, right?

I understood every word in that sentence but not the sentence as a whole. Which I'm sure is my own fault as its only 08:30 here and I've only had two cups of coffee so far.

The idea of an other man's mustache against mine makes me sick, I'd rather have a dick in the butt to be honest.

Kiss a guy and see what it's like?
Just do what you like and don't worry about it.
My first bi experience I was wasted, I don't recommend it, you want to realy know how you feel about it if you choose to do something.
