Thumbs up I think the proof that jesus has already returned to earth is

the fact that everyone thinks he hasn't. I mean think about it from Jesus's perspective, why would he want to 'come out' and say he is jesus to everyone? Do you think he wants to be worshipped and honored by the people at west boro who protest hate at a time of mourning? Do you think he wants to lead the millions who reinterpret his principles and cause a plight of wars?

I'm not saying he hates you or dismembers you because deep down I believe jesus loves everyone. But he has no incentive to come out. He knows tension and hostility from other religions would rise hath he announce thy return. I'm not saying jesus hates us, because he taught about not making judgements. However, I can easily picture him looking over all of us and letting out a sigh of disbelief in people today. Not judging, but observing. He is better off never returning until the very end.

n my humble opinion, jesus probably walks today (i'm looking at you macy gray)

Please don't litter my thread with this garbage. You didn't think about my argument from Christs perspective, you thought about it through some argumentative rule you learned in law100 class. You can't apply logic when an action like this is based on emotion. try not to think through logic when you should be thinking through emotions.

But think about your argument. It could be used for any time period. Not only that, you should think about the premises that are "supposed" to happen before his return. If he doesn't reveal himself, then why has he returned? For what reason? Why would he return for no reason?

Well like I said you are assuming Jesus thinks logically. A guy like Jesus loves everyone and will act on his emotions imo. Why would he return? Maybe he misses seeing the very things he created? Wants to visit some great people?

And you can't ask a question like "why would he return for no reason?" every man has a reason for something. His reasons involve seeing his loved ones.

Sorry but this inane reasoning ("think with emotion, not logic") leaves a never-ending amount of ridiculous stupidity open as "proven".

Example:

I think the proof that unicorns exist on Earth is the fact that everyone thinks they don't. Why would a unicorn make himself apparent when people hunt dear and wild exotic animals all the time? He wouldn't! He would go into hiding deep into the forests and meld, so that humanity doesn't doesn't extinguish its magical essence.

The list goes on and on. I can support practically anything with that atrocious train of thought. It's what psychologists call a self-reinforcing delusion: even what indicates you're wrong (i.e. no evidence) is somehow supportive of your claim.

So sorry, but whether you like or not, calling attention to the ridiculous "reasoning" you're using is not "littering" anything; except maybe if you consider logic, evidence and proper reason to be "garbage". Apparently you do.

If he loved everyone and acted on his emotions, why wouldn't he lead them into the perfect kingdom, show the hate preachers the light and forgive everyone and give them everlasting happiness?

This is a joke thread, right? You attempted to make a sound argument and when shown why it failed to be sound, you claim that your argument can't be shown to be unsound because logic doesn't count?

If you want to claim that your claim is based on emotion, e.g., I feel that Jesus has come back, that's fine. But you used an argument as evidence that your claim holds water. In that case, it's perfectly acceptable for one to show you why your argument is unsound.

So, now, why is it that since everyone (except for you?) thinks he hasn't come back, does it mean he actually has? Why didn't this logic apply 100 years ago? Why now? Why can't he come back, say, 100 years from now?

Okay? And that means the time is now for what reason?

Oh, yeah, because everyone thinks he hasn't come back. Do you see why this makes no sense? It's not about Jesus not thinking logically (which is obvious, so I see you've read the Bible), it's about your argument not being sound.

you're trying to claim my argument sucks yet you provide no reasons based on emotion. Rust, your unicorn comparison is just awful. It provides no evidence against my claim other then to mock me. And Roxberry, please stop trying to disprove my argument through reasons other then the context of it.

now back to your questions
So, now, why is it that since everyone (except for you?) thinks he hasn't come back, does it mean he actually has?

you missed the point, my point is that when you look at it through the mind of christ, its proof that we shouldn't question when he will return, but rather--if he has or why would he want to?

Wrong. I provided an almost exact copy of your argument except I changed "Jesus" with "unicorn". If you think that's awful or if you think that's me mocking you then you should read your own argument because it's exactly like that.

Again: You're reasoning is pathetic and can apply to a million different things (things that can even contradict each other). The lack of evidence that Jesus exists is not proof that he does exist. That is utterly ridiculous.

You never made that point! The title of this thread is "I think the proof that jesus has already returned to earth is" and the proof you offered is "the fact that everyone thinks he hasn't".

Now how about actually answering the questions?

You claimed you had proof that he came back and the proof is that everyone thinks he hasn't.

Why didn't this logic apply 100 years ago? Why now? Why won't it apply, say, 100 years from now?

That's not how it works, kev. For one, trolling isn't a bannable offense. Second - "proof" isn't a requirement for posting. Lastly, there is no spam here.

You can ignore him or argue with him, but asking for a ban is futile.

Using your logic

We don't know Jesus is here, therefore he is.
We don't know if you're homosexual, therefore you are.
We don't know if you have orgy with all your family members every night, therefore you do.
We don't know if you live in a closet, therefore you do.
We don't know if you're a good poster, therefore you are.

The last one, obviously is false, disproves your theory.

I came in hoping I could say something to this guy but all the good things have been taken. You cannot defend a claim with anything but logic, man. You can make it all you'd like, but once you start get into formally ordering it up into something you are defending, you have to switch to regular logic. Because that's how the world works. With everything. So, way to go clearly being something like 12, I imagine. You'll get to drive someday! Just stick in there. Eventually, you'll also lose your imaginary friends and big ass space daddies.

well in my opinion this is bs cos bearing false witness is a sin, and there is a shitload of people pretending to me the messiah. so if jesus 'came out' (horrible wording, u make him sound gay) he would prevent many sins, something that he does care for i guess, unless he likes dying again to repent our sins

but if clergy can be pedo's and get repented, I'm sure could get off for a little pocket pool.

and i wonder why would jesus, if he does exist, would stand by and let his legacy, the church, be tainted by "evils" and let it happen

Jesus said he was on vacation at the time. He doesn't have much else to say for some reason.

His credibility is tearing apart.

The question is, has Jesus reincarnated. If you assume that the whole point of reincarnation is to grow spiritually, the logical answer is probably not.

If you assume that the whole point of reincarnation is to have earth plane experience, the logical answer is probably yes.

Over the years, however, many people have incarnated who have what may be called Christ-consciousness. They tend to be ignored, worshipped, or killed.

And if Jesus had a brain he would know deep down that claiming to be Jesus would get him killed. Point proven that he has already reincarnated. You're a smart man. What church do you preach at? I'm no expert but I would love to hear it.

No, not point proven, not even close.

"No evidence of P, therefore P" is not an argument. It's a fallacy. A ridiculous statement. It is nothing close to a "proof".

It wouldn't get him killed because he would be able to prove that he was the real deal by performing miracles.
