While I know that cross posting is taboo I really need as much information on this as possible.

I just had a major panic attack about 7 hours ago, I just went numb. I couldnt move , I thought i was having a siezure or stroke. I managed to poke 911 into my phone and when EMS got here I was already starting to calm down a little.

they mentioned that there are free programs for anxiety medication if you do not have the money. I was wondering if any of you could help me find some of these because if I have another panic attack like this it could be worse and I really did think i was going to die. I could barely breathe, I couldn't move.

Start taking xanax or something. Above all calm the fuck down. How many people die from panic attacks? Not that many. Get yourself a steady supply of xanax or diazapam or muscle relaxants like soma. I'm not doctor thats just off the top of my head. I never had to deal with any problems like that.

if worst comes to worst, you can always get drunk...alcohol affects GABA receptors in the brain the same way xanax or any other benzo does.

Opiates will probably help too. Lots of people take downers and opiates every day for pain and depression etc. and they operate just as good (if not better) as they did when they weren't on the meds so I see no reason why you shouldn't play it safe and get on some sorta meds. Personally I'd go for opiates because they don't seem to have as much of a numbing effect as drugs like xanax.
