Plasma TV
I've got a 52inch plasma, samsung bn68-01212A (if anyone cares)
I've had it about 1year
today I had a pixel stuck on green, around the middle of the screen.
I ran Jscreenfix http://www.jscreenfix.com/ and it fixed it.
If i'm getting stuck pixels now, do you think I will get more soon as well?
Should I try and sell it now, when it's working. and upgrade to something better?

I'm only guessing here, but it seems there's luck involved in getting a tv that has no problems .
Yours had one and now it doesn't.
Will it have more, and will your next one have them too?
It's a guess and a gamble, as to whether an upgrade will turn out to be an upgrade.
I guess you need to read a ton of reviews from other owners to get a feeling about its future.

Most of the time i buy electronics i do my research, but you said it best - its luck! Most of totse seems to hate ipods, but to tell you the truth ive gone through 2 of them - The first generation ipod nano which i got when it first came out and now its my mothers. Now i have the 3rd gen nano and its a jewel. TBH, Ive had my fair share of luck when it comes to electronics.
As for the OP, ive a 20'' LG hdtv and i had the same problem as you do. One little green pixel and all i did was flick the screen a bit and it went away Hopefully it wont come back or get anymore in the future. You have a Samsung tho, which is a pretty damn good brand. So.... just hope
PS: This post basically had nothing to do with the thread

DLP's seem to break faster than LCD's.

DING DING DING!
The lamps on those things go out left and right no matter what brand you buy and cost tons to get new ones. There is absolutely no reason that they can't engineer their lamps to last longer like automotive lamps, especially since they cost an order of magnitude more and put out much less light.
Dead pixels are a natural product of assembly line manufacture. If you buy any large pixellated display, expect a dead pixel or two at some point no matter how much it cost.
