Cellular Mods Your cell phone is really just a specialized computer with a wireless network connection. It has the software that your cellular provider has picked for you, but their software sucks. Why not replace what they give you with better software that has more features?

Default Moto q9c / Windows Mobile 6

I'm planning on getting the Moto with verizon when my contract is up in a few months.

Does anyone have any experience with Moto q9 or Windows Mobile 6?
Advice?

Also, I am planning on buying a WiFi microSD card so I can do internet without paying for a data plan. :P

I have Windows Mobile 6 on a Samsung i616. It's not bad, but make sure you remember to fully close applications or your battery will die extremely fast.

That's what I've seen on the reviews.

Do you have any specific questions? Not exactly sure what you want to know.

I have a Q on win mobile 5. I leave apps open all the time and battery life is just fine for me. Of course lately its spent more time plugged into my computer than unplugged

My battery will let me go about 3-5 days depending on use.

It sucks in comparison to my old Nokia 6280, which could go weeks.

It's awesome considering how much it can do and has similar battery life to my old KRZR.

Weeks? Fuck I want that! I want the security of knowing I could just leave home for a week without my charger and know the phone wont die.

Back when I was living paycheck to paycheck, I had to pay rent and other stuff on payday and was completely broke. My cord snapped, and I was able to use it for the next 13 days without it dying.

Then when I got paid and bought a charger, I still could have waited as it was not completely dead yet.
