I was reading up for my upcoming scuba certification and I was reading about increased nitrogen absorption. This occurs when one descends and the air pressure increases the same volume of nitrogen is taken in to the blood stream but at a higher density. This causes euphoria and altered perception, similar to a strong pot high. Now you might ask: Why in the hell would I use some shitty, possibly lethal gas that effects divers to get a pot high when I can use pot? Well there are a few reasons, Firstly nitrogen is legal, Secondly nitrogen is one of the most common gases on earth, air is 70% nitrogen, Thirdly an OD can be treated easily by a medical professional. The only problem is condensing air/pure nitrogen enough to get you high. I have a few ideas but they are still purely theory, which brings me to the point of this thread, If your a practical genius and you have an idea please share it. Im thinking that compressing air and injecting it in to some kind of container, then breathing it, I don't know. An ideal setup would be to find some way to pressurize a room or chamber, similar to how they pressurize an airplane cabbin but totally over do it, again I don't know. Now think people, Think!

The bends occurs when bubbles of nitrogen form in the flesh after rapid evaporation (turning into gas(I don't know, you might be that dumb)) What I'm proposing is a unpressurized release pressurized of N2 into the lungs and blood stream, if done in a controlled fasion it could work similarly to alcohol and not cause you to pass out. This has little to do with nitrusoxide.
