We have some strain of datura growing in the back yard, classic white trumpet flowers that close at night.

now i know some of you have tried smoking it, ive heard some of stupid noobs stories, and from what ive read the duration when smoked is much much shorter and milder...

not wanting to go for the 3 day delusional experience my curiosity is getting the better of me and im thinking about smoking it, would 1 leaf be a good safe starting point as far as smoking goes? generally how long is the duration?

and yes, i know its a very dangerous plant... i also know that what i might experience might not be very fun...

anyways, i just went with it and smoke 1 shredded leaf rolled with some tobacco.... nothing overpowering, just a mild sort of sedative feeling, slightly off thought patterns, and some cotton mouth but that doesnt really bother me... 2 will be used for further experimentation at a later time... this mild datura experience will be viewed in no way by me as unpleasant...

not really too much to it, like i said it was just sort of a mild datura induced stone.... after smoking it i tried to watch a movie, and as i was cycling through the movie stations i just kept going through a loop and had to put a little bit of effort into not doing that, it messed with my attention span just a little bit... a balloon gave me a little scare as i saw it rolling out of the corner of my eye, just gonna assume the fan blew it a few inches...

for a while my pulse was up a bit above normal but that was probably mostly just nicotine... At first i was wondering if it was just a nico buzz i was feeling or what, but that always goes away after a couple of minutes, this has lasted a couple of hours...

apparently datura can induce some pretty crazy and vivid dreams. im about to go to sleep, i will see what happens...

It actually had no taste but about an hour later I ended up throwing it back up...
I still was pretty delusional for a good 5-8 hours... If I wouldn't have puked it back up I think I would have been tore up from the floor up.
I still found myself talking to people who weren't there continuously and my vision was pretty fucked.
I believe the way I just stated would be the safest way to ingest datura... Just be SUPER careful.

ive done a light dose of dramamine (as far as abusable amounts go anyways) and hated it, all i wanted was to go to sleep but not being able to... so far this light dose of datura ranks above my light dramamine experience...

You know what would be a FUCKING HILARIOUS combination? A nice fat dose of atropine (chem in datura) after about 4 days of smoking and shooting meth, with a nice daily dose of an SNRI.

What do you mean you don't know what kind of datura it is. Look at it you tard. If it has spiky leaves it smells like shit with ok smelling flowers it is datura stramonium, if it is woody like a tree it is datura metel, and if i has round leaves with a shitty smelling flower it is datura innoxia.

Either way, smoke it. I wouldnt risk eating it, I havent tried that yet but I have heard too many bad things about it. Smoking it just makes you feel really dreamy and floaty. I only take a few hits at a time but you still get that horrible dry mouth and dilated pupils. I only smoke the leaves, but the seeds and flowers work too. The duration isint very long smoking it either.
