Anyways, pretty good movie. I thought it kind of lagged in the middle, but it did a good job with the whole mystical, magical, epic thing. I mean, he really created a whole new world, and the best part of the movie was getting kind of lost in it. I felt the Golden Army was underused...it really was a glorified MacGuffin.

I kind of feel like rewatching the first one....I don't remember much of it, but I seem to recall it having a more interesting plot.

It was a OK the first was better. The romance in the movie was redculously cheesey and the action was good. the final fight seen didn't have the same kind of punch that the first had. I just wish 2 followed closer to the original plot i.e. having the cop from the first and sothing relevant to the original kind of enemies. Not to say the movie was bad just not as good as i expected

I thought it was a thoroughly enjoyable movie, if not quite as subtle as the comics.

I felt like they were jerking me back and forth between awesome scenes that were just about to get insane and cheesy shit that was written by an entirely different person. It left me feeling disjointed.

Yeah, that's kind of how I felt. It started strong, but then there's like 20 minutes of them singing Barry Manilow, and the fish trying to fuck an elf...then the goblin in Scotland and such. It's like Del Toro just thought of bullshit filler between showcases of his creature ideas.

I hated the ending. Hell, I hated the entire later half of the movie. And what the hell was with Abe finally finding someone that liked him, then she just gets killed off?! The whole twin thing was stupid as a whole. Mean, WTF, Hellboy gets to be a father of twins and gets the girl and Abe is just going to go... swim around by himself.

And why did they all quit? And why would they make an army out of gold? Isn't gold really soft? And what about that Ghost guy?

And what was with the random Angel thing that saved Hellboy? And how could he still be destined to end the world? Wouldn't that baby that he saved have its eardrums blown out by having a massive cannon fired right by its head?

Why did people hate Hellboy? New Yorkers are all over a guy that dresses up in red and shoots webs, yet they hate a guy with horns and a tail? Weren't the tooth fairies overkill? Mean there wasn't any more resistance against the Prince, why did he draw more attention to himself and leave the Royal Symbols sitting around to get people on his trail?

Godammit! Well I'm still going to go see it the first one was wicked and this one has gotten really good reviews.

A little off topic but does any one know any Selma Blair flicks where I can see her in all her glory?
