Living on a part-time job...
Do you guys think this is possible? say, 4 hours 4 days a week, $11, and with an owned house, you think this is managable? if you wanted water/electricity/food/etc?
Just wondering, I don't even own a house , but I think only over-achiving assholes with unlimited goals work full-time (oh boy).

You can't even come close to paying for rent with that.

If you get an apartment with a few roommates that could be possible. Last summer my rent was only $225 a month. With cable and electricity it came to near $300. That would leave 400 for food, which should be enough. Of course this depends on where you live, and you have to figure gas money.

What part of "presume I already own a house" don't you understand?

Well, douche-bag, I was trying to be helpful. Plenty of people have already suggested how fucking stupid you are for thinking this is feasible with the house, so I was giving you your options with an apartment instead.

Re: Living on a part-time job...
I pay 150 a month for rent, with cable/internet/electricity included. At the moment I'm working about 12 hours a week and getting by fine.
I've got a few investments too but I don't really spend money on anything besides food, drugs and movies so I barely have to touch those.

you forgot to mention you live with your parents and that's all they're charging your broke ass out of the goodness of their hearts.
