getting wasted while getting healthy
would drinking while working out have any potentially harmfal or dangerous consequences.
and i don't mean working out like lifting weights, i think we could all see where that could go wrong. i mean simple things like treadmills (could possibly be a bad idea) or exercising bikes (seems pretty safe).
i don;t mean like "how could i hurt myself whilst trying to drunkenly increase my muscle mass?" i mean "would a lot of physical exertion of the aerobic type be a bad thing to mix with a high BAC?"

Re: getting wasted while getting healthy
I only suspect that it would cause you to dehydrate very quickly and rape your body's ability to work at it's best. You're mind and your ability to dedicate yourself to one task for a long period of time may be an issue as well.
All I can think of.

Re: getting wasted while getting healthy
are you asking if you can drink alcohol while getting exercise? if so, then sure. drinking back a couple cold beers while on the treadmill sounds fine, but just realize you won't really be burning any calories in the end...
if you go out to a club for a wild night and get wasted, you probably got in some physical exertion throughout the night and got trashed as well... so there's another one.
your question is kind of confusing though... good luck drinking and working out lol

Non-tedious labor can be fun on alcohol. Sometimes you will just say fuck that shit because you are drunk.

disagree. i am fairly healthy and enjoy drinking alcohol, even past moderation most of the time.. many really healthy people I know who can run marathons and triathalons and bike miles a day also enjoy a couple beers or glasses of wine a few times a week or so...

Re: getting wasted while getting healthy
Theres gonna be a huge chance for injury.
I know when I get drunk and end up running for one reason or another I always wake up with a sore ankle.
But if you think you can handle it, go for it.

You'll get a headache likely even if you're not hungover.

Re: getting wasted while getting healthy
Doesn't sound like too much fun to me.
I would rather just drink and Enjoy.

Yeah that sounds really unpleasurable.
Last time I ran drunk was last year in P.E, some girl called me in the morning because it was a late start and I took probably like 5-6 shots of whiskey at her house while chainsmoking like 5 cigs. That was a bad day, our P.E dude didn't watch us so I was taking a dip on the track and straight up vomited all IN the sand pit.
Hard to explain but fuckem i'm the best in the STEP DANNG!!

Re: getting wasted while getting healthy
Personally, I enjoy knocking back a few brews after I work out. If I try to drink while I'm working out it tends to come back up really quickly so it's just wasted beer.
Save the alcohol as a reward for a good workout.

Re: getting wasted while getting healthy
I bet you won't want to exercise after you drink. And if you decide to anyways, you should drink hard alcohol and not beer. Like others have said, it's more dangerous and you will get quickly dehydrated. Have fun...

I'm a distance runner. I've run on a lot of things, and I've run while drunk. There's no like extreme negatives, however, it does just take a lot of you. Working out while having to process alcohol just takes a lot out on your body.
Will it kill you or cause permanent harm?
Not in my experience
Would I do it often?
No way

Re: getting wasted while getting healthy
Ofcourse it’s not healthy.
Ingesting a substance which depresses the nervous system while engaging in strenuous activity, which can possibly raise ones heart rate is NOT wise, but hell I do it quite often -but then again I'm no role model plus I love me whiskey. :)
.peace.
