basically my gf just asked me for 80$ to "surprise" me by getting something from victoria secret and I gave in. Now my question is if this is justifibly by any means and if you would do something similar given the situation.. I mean how do I turn this offer down!

A real women would charge her already maxed out credit card if she was really trying to surprise you.
At least thats what 1 of my girlfriends did...an i left her a month later cause i say the free credit report.com commercial when the guy talks about his girlfriend having bad credit...

Those commercials are so fucking stupid. Knowing your credit score isn't going to magically make it go up, nor is knowing it somehow going to change the opinion of a car dealer, mortgage broker, etc. Congratulations, you now know your exact credit score, as if you didn't already know if you pay your bills on time or have outstanding debt!

Also,the point of those companies isnt to make it go up, it's to keep you aware so you dont fuck up more.
You also dont wanna end up with a chick that has 50k in student loans,a minimum wage job and doesnt know how to live within her means...
