Ok, I apologise for acting like a complete arsehole.
I have read on erowid that MJ and Effexor are thought to sometimes cause serotonin syndrome, but nothing is certain. My experiences smoking hash on effexor were extremely disappointing.

Holy fuck, weed on it is bad, think about being so fucked you can hardly move, tons of anxiety, dilated pupils, cold sweats, vomiting everywhere, heart rate through the roof etc. until the weed wears off. I can't believe some of you experienced little. It must be tolerance to the weed/hash. Zero tolerance weed plus Effexor is a potentialy suicidal combo.

It does not take 4 weeks to feel shit with Effexor, more like 1-2 days as the metabolic half-life is quite short. (It takes about that long for ones libido to come back; fuck it, at least I have no withdrawal, yet...)

Weird, I started taking effexor at the beginning of January. I smoked weed regularly up until I got put into IOP in May. I felt no change, other than being less depressed. I rolled once in March, and I rolled balls. I drink regularly, and all I've noticed is that I black out a lot easier.

I'm no expert, this is just my personal experience. Everyone is different. I'm now on Pristiq, which is the same thing as effexor, it just doesn't get processed by your liver.
