That pisses me off.

Not 6% of rapes, 6% of reported rapes. I find it terrifying that this is even viewed as a problem, does anyone consider that most reported rapes might simply be made up? This is the first step towards having a quota of how many reported rapes should result in conviction, resulting in many innocent people going to prison.

Could the other 94% of rape cases really be false? I mean, I think that there are a lot of girls that make shit up, but that high?

How am I male chauvinist? When a man is raped it's even less likely to result in a conviction and they really are less willing to come forward because they'd be laughed out of the police station.

If only 6% of reported rapes have enough evidence to result in a conviction then that's just how it is. You can't throw people in prison for no reason. Legally the 94% who aren't convicted are innocent.
