So i have a few Concerta pills that I would like to remove the time release from. I've already removed the outer shell but I don't know whether the green part or the white part contains the time release. Also should i save the outer shell, I've heard from a few places that it contains part of the drug but i've also heard that you should just throw it out.

Concerta does work if you need to stay up all night, but they will make you feel like shit and they also have a bad comedown. I would say throw them out and go drink some god damn coffee.

How does the comedown compare to other add medications like Adderall and Ritalin?

I'd say that concerta has about a comedown similar Ritilan. Afterall, Concerta is simply a more powerful version of ritilan.

Unless you're ADD like me, and need it to not spend the day chasing yourself in distracted circles, don't even bother.

Well i don't really want to use the Concerta recreationally. I have an early shift at work and i just want to be awake for that and have something to speed me up so i'll give it a try.
Hopefully i won't have to shitty of a comedown, but its not really a big deal if I do.

It is ritalin. It's not a "more powerful" version, there's just more of the drug in it because it's extended release. Percocet is oxycontin without the time release, ritalin is concerta without the time release...

Also, the come down is worse than meth.

i take it every day, i mean the comedown, if you can even call it that is just feeling slightly out of energy at the end of the day, meth is so much worse in my experience

I don't know, but it did for me. When I smoked meth I had almost no come down. The only come down I had was realizing I wasn't spun anymore. When I came down off Concerta I felt fucking horribly depressed and wanted to die.

Well technically, I am right. Being that ritalin comes in dosages of 5, 10, 20 mg and concerta comes in dosages of 18, 36, and 54 mg.

concerta is an extended release version, instant release ALWAYS has a lower dosage and the power of a drug is usually defined by it potency. i know it may be counter intuitive but ritalin in its pure form is definetely more powerful than concerta


just try snorting 10 or 20 mgs of pure ritalin, and then the next day try taking a 54mg conerta

54mg concerta will last much longer but its not nesescarily more powerful...

i dont really even have ADD, but like how methadone helps heroin users stay off opiates, concerta (for me) is kinda like that. i used to have problems with meth and coke and adderall and now that im on a concerta regimen ive lost urges to use uppers


edit: like, with the ritalin, you get all 10mgs at once...with the concerta if you took a 36 you would get like 8mgs in one hour from the outer coating and maybe 5mgs an hour after that (its gradual, you dont get all 36 at once like you would with pure ritalin)

Yah i cut both outer shells and then removed the time release in order to just get the whole dose at once.

Well it did its job and i was able to function at work and had a decent tweek. As for the come down i feel a little tired and out of it right now, but that could also just be from lack of sleep.

I know that Concerta is pretty shitty as far as recreational drugs go but i had it and i'm not one to waste drugs.
