I've been debating for a while whether or not to update to SP3 or to just stay with SP2.

Some personal feedback on some pros and cons?

What exactly is SP3 going to be improving upon?

I don't do much with my computer anymore like I used to. I just more care about my security, Firefox 3 running well, and iTunes/iPod not being affected in anyway along with my Zone Alarm Security Suite.

Speed improvements all around with SP3.

I don't know of any cons.

Would there be issues getting sp3 these days for my situation?

ive embraced vista to the fullest, love it, even installed sp1. but when it comes to my xp machines, im kinda uneasy about sp3. some machines work great with it, and some dont. i dont even install it on customer machines, just sp2. honestly untill you run across a program that needs at least sp3 to run, i wouldnt install it.

You're sure there are speed improvements in SP3? I've heard/read nothing mentioned of the sort. I heard SP3 consisted of all of the updates in between SP2 and SP3, and added new features specific to networking such as the router black hole detection, but that is all.

Just because it's a service pack, doesn't mean there are automatically speed improvements. Show me some proof.
