She and I have a lot of the same friends, but they're 90% guys. And she'll hang out with some of my guy friends without me at times, and I personally think that's just shady/gets on my nerves at times. Any suggestions/opinions? I've told her how I feel about it, but it's too soon to tell how she's reacted to it (if she'll continue)

It just sketches me out at times, having your girlfriend hang out with a bunch of guys without you, and I don't know if its better when I know them well or dont.

Was she friends with them before you two started dating? If yes, then you can't do anything about it. If not, I'd be a little sketched out too.

I'm female and I hang out with probably 98% guys too. I have no intentions or desires to hook up with them (and my boyfriend knows this) I just get along with guys alot better than with girls.

Most of the guys here agree, men are just.. simpler than women. In that, if a man is mad at you, he'll tell you why. If a woman is mad, she'll play mind games and make you guess. Theres just less of a sense of loyalty.

If she actually tries to avoid having you along with her, thats another matter entirely. If she just likes hanging out with guys, particularly if she's a bit tomboyish (it dosent have to be extreme, just that she likes video games, or cars, ect.) then its likely entirely innocent.

If you still feel insecure about it though, maybe you should have a word with the guys as well as her.

Dont try to control her friends though, its a very good way to either wind up with a miserable girlfriend, no girlfriend at all, or gives her a reason to hide things from you. Its like having a super healthy girlfriend who gives you hell every time you eat anything processed. Eventually you'll start hiding the wrappers rather than face the conflict.

Depends on her personality. Has she been with lots of other guys? Not a big fan of commitment? Then she's more likely to fuck one of them.

I know a girl who's like that, but she adores her boyfriend and would never even consider banging someone else. She admits that women suck friendship-wise, hence why she doesn't have any.

This is true of me and my boyfriend as well. We started dating right at a point where my girl friends started getting into the 'scene' and we just didn't relate anymore, so we grew apart. Now I'm good friends with most of his friends, and the majority of my friends were his friends first.

Lately his friends have been inviting me to hang out when he's not around and he doesn't like it. I thought it would be inappropriate for me to chill with a bunch of his friends when he wasn't around, so I declined, but he is still a little suspicious of his friends. Personally, I think she should be allowed to hang out with whoever she wants, but if she's any kind of girlfriend she'll consider how it would make you feel and keep it to the minimum.

Two options:

A - She's fucking one or all of them.

B - She gets off on male attention.

This sounds the most likely option, although there are exeptions.

I have a female friend who has a predominantly male group of friends, her boyfriend is in fact a friend of mine too. And yet for some reason me and the her get along a bit better than me and him(her boyfriend) we just share alot more likes/dislikes.

Actually I lost a friend over this shit, his g/f liked us better, he was too controlling. I ended up hooking up with her and he never told me if he found out, all I know is that he hates me now, so it's rather obvious. She probably brought it up in a fight or something and he found out that way, didn't have the nuts to tell me off or anything..
