Today's "acid" trip.

Soo...

Today myself and a friend bought two tabs of "acid" for $40 each (The going rate where I live, can go from 30-60 for a tab. Ridiculous I know.)

We dropped at 6pm, and arranged a ride with our friend for a friend 20th at 7:30pm. 7:30 rolled around, and neither of us were feeling too much. We put it down to having had a meal before our tab, and figured it'd kick in soon enough. By 8:30 we aren't feeling much, a little euphoric, few fuzzy edges on things but overall nothing special. We send a text message to the person we bought the tab from, saying we don't feel much. He replies with 'o u just need to b around more trippers to get u cranking'.

By 9:30, we feel ripped off. We buy about a gram of weed, and smoke it between four people. This kicks in a few more visuals, and quite a lot of euphoria.

By 10:30, we're feeling exactly the same as at 8:30.

We leave our friends at about 1:00, still feeling the same as at 8:30.

Basically, anything you can see that would've made the trip so worthless, or was it just a couple of bad tabs?

(Note: I took a tab the Friday before, it is now Tuesday. Tolerance shouldn't be an issue.)

EDIT: It is now 5am, completely baseline, but am WIDE awake. Smoking weed didn't give any of the usual semi-tiredness.

I've had a reasonable degree of experience, from "mushrooms", Mescaline, acid, 2C-I, 2C-T2 and 30+ 2C-E doses.

Sigh, people suck. :(

Mm, it's annoying as this always seems to happen when me and this particular friend try and take something together. Happened three times now, very frustrating.

Wait, so you only ingested one hit each? That could definitely be the problem. If you're CERTAIN it wasn't placebo, it was probably just that you only ate 1 (from the sound of it) weak-ass hit.

I've eaten plain white tabs that have been fire and seen printed blotters that are bunk.

I knew a kid who would buy real full blotter sheets and just not dip them in anything, so they were totally bunk.

But there's no chance of finding a tab for less than $30 around here. Also keeping in mind that $40 would be roughly $25USD. Still a fucking rip, but to a slightly lesser extent.

But $25USD isn't *too* bad, only like £12.50, which is just over double what you pay in England for a sugar cube.

I've heard that NZ and Aus are shit for drugs, aren't your pills like $40/pop as well?

I'm in one of the shitter cities, and E goes from $50-80 a pill.

Well, if I were to buy weed I'd have to buy it in a $50 amount to get as close as possible to $40, and for $50 you can expect from 2g-4g, depending on who and how potent.

$25 (smallest amount you can really buy) gets you about 0.8-1.3g. It's disgusting.

I remember personally getting some plain white blotter that was fantastic. I even remember people on this board talking about similar blotters a while back. Print means fuck all really but type of paper obviously does. I can remember when my ass hole buddies would sell the little cut out squares of graph paper to the gr.9's after taking a highlighter to them. Happened only a couple times before they caught on but the fact that it took a couple times was just sad. I guess in the end it was better than giving most grade 9's actual LSD though :P

Please note I never did this as it really is shit behavior but I still thought it was kind of good for a laugh.

Also to those talking about print/blank.

Some of the best acid I've gotten was plain white. It's a lot easier to smuggle bulk quantity if it's white (see: notebook.) Not so easy when each page is a trippy design.

I would definitely stick to vendors if you have good sources. Gotta be a lot cheaper than what you're paying. I've heard bad things about New Zealand's drug culture but I didn't realize how bad they were as far as prices are concerned.

Hell, should you order some 'art' online you could redistribute that 'art' around your area and make some serious bank.

Well, keep in mind that acid is the easiest thing to smuggle, and vendors know this. I think the risk of it getting seized is very, very low.

But sometimes it's just better to play it safe.

It sucks that you have to pay close to 30 US dollars to get a hit of acid, but i guess that what happens when you live on a small island.

If I was in your position I would try to get the money back and then ask some other people around your area where they get their Acid. You said you got acid before this, was it the Same person? If it it was I would just stop going to this guy because he obviously is not reliable
