I clicked on the link and got this as the main story, seems that travelling on the trains these days is an increasingly risky business for non-whites.

The UK still has incredibly high crime rates, hell the murder rate is twice as high as the murder rate of the country I live in. (per capita)

In all fairness, with all these TV programs and news storys on people getting stabbed recently it is popularising it making kids think they will be hard as nails if they go out with a knife, cos the police will be after them so it makes them 'dangerous' 
And at the other end of the spectrum, it's making the rest of the public scared to go outside their own house. |

That, and also kids think that the streets are way more dangerous than they are, so they begin to think that they need a knife or a gun to stay safe on the streets, when the reality is they didn't, or they wouldn't if the media didn't go crazy about every single stabbing or shooting.
If the media kept quiet then we wouldn't have the knife/gun/gang problem we have today.
