Default suggestoins on remedies for insomnia?? [please help..]

Insomnia sucks =p I kind of want a pep talk into getting tired..perhaps some meditation excersises?

To help, I've consumed
100mg of Seroquel
300mg of diphen (unfortunately with acetaminophen, but my poor liver is used to this abuse)
1 glass of ruffino chainti
countless bong rips

I still can't sleep! I still can't even get into the zone of feeling tired. I'm lost in the zone of infomercials, late night unnecessary munchies that will lead my curvaceous sexy body into a world of cellulite and rolls in the future, constantly checking my stupid myspace to see if anyone had just happened to stumble across my page to say 'yo' at 2:10 in the fucking morning, being on totse, and concludes in counting down the hours and minutes to sunrise so you can at least pretend to feel like a normal human being again.

Now..

I'm open to any ideas of meditation, or breathing excersises. I actually have one that works some times more than others..I tighten and then loosen all of the muscles in my body starting with my feet, and then work my way up. But I need something more effective and sedative.....and more frankly...that would compliment with the substances floating around in my system right now.

Please excuse the spelling and grammar. I'm usually a nazi about it, but frankly right now, I don't give a damn.

Good suggestion, bad idea for 2 reasons.

Not a good mix with the others.
Would probably keep me up (depending on how much)

Take a few mg's of xanax, it'll knock you right out. If that doesn't do it combine it with some shots.

If the seroquel didn't do it, nothing will.

Yeah haha. That's the fucked up part!!

Oh and I had one other question. I know the circadian cycle will kick in around sunrise, and I'll feel normal and well-rested as if I had gotten sleep. But I'll still need an extra boost. Will a few B Vitamins, lots of coffee, and well, a little bit of coke give me that charge?? Yeahah haha of course it will dumbass!! but seriously, the B's are supposed to be really good for boots right??

Again, sorry for the loose grammar/spelling/coordination of thought....

Well I don't have insomnia but if I ever had trouble sleeping getting really high would fix that. So just get so stoned out of your mind that you just relax.

Try not to rely on drugs for sleep, b/c if you dont have them, you're right back where you started. I am currently 1.5 months clean after 7 years of all day, everyday use. All the chemicals my brain used to make me sleep are depleted. Sucks, I just typed this in S/G. anyways, heres some possible remedies: watch tv (either amovie you've seen a million times or something boring, read a book, drink some tea w/ honey, avoid foods (esp. w. high sugar content before bed), exercise/work hard during the day so you're tired at night, OTC sleep remedies.
Meditation:either sit w/ back straight, hands on knees(cross legged) or lay on your back. Breathe in deeply through your nose(the breath should take at least 5-10 sec. and completly fill your lungs. Breathe out through your mouth(again ~10 sec).
Repeat for 5-10 min.
Now try to clear your mind, or failing that, focus on parts of your body to relax, startin w/ toes and working up to neck/head. focusing on a relaxing mental picture sometimes helps as well.
If all this fails, head to a dr. and get a presciption for anxiety/sleep aid. Try not to rely on it though. Mine tend to stop working after a week or so and I switch to new ones. Everything fails for me, but I hope some of these remedies help you, because I know it sucks not being able to sleep.
Medication recommendations: 1) diazepam 2)carisoprodol (Soma, not the OTC kind)
3) cyclobenzaprine/flexiril

Ambien? Melatonin? How often do you take that seroquel? M/b just 2x the dose...

I wouldnt recommend heroin for sleep, but thats something that would be nearly guaranteed to work. It does NOT keep you up like oxy does sometimes, you nod out you know...

Well, everyone's different, but I'd suggest some kind of cough medicine with codeine. Or anything with codeine in it, really.

Unless you're like my mom and codeine makes your heart race. Confused

I wouldn't take that much. I take 400 mg seroquel every night, but I needed to work up to it. I've been on it for a good 4 years now. Maybe double your dose, but taking 4 times that much could be bad.
