i guess i do need a break, what is drug use to you? is it like a hobby that you do every now and then to enjoy, or is it like im going to the movies tonight, might as well be high, it'll be more enjoyable, or i need to get high because if i dont i will have withdrawals and feel like throwing up all day.

yeah mainly adderall and salvia(those drugs sucks), sometimes weed, but i just gotta take a break. although i do think i would do like 5x salvia maybe one more time in the future just to experience its weirdness again...but definately not adderall shit doesn't even feel good and the comedown is HORRIBLE, only the first time was it ever good.

OH FUCK YAH. I could talk about this in regards to several drugs but I think opiates will be my example of this.

Where I live Vancouver is rather close by and there we have the downtown eastside mainly main and hastings. This is the poorest shithovel in Canada but is relatively peaceful but overflowing with drugs ( Mainly crack cocaine, heroin and occasionaly methamp ).

There is, however, a thriving pharmacutical market. People always have some vallium or dillies for dirt cheap (like $1.00 for a 15mg vallium or $20.00 for OC80 brand name). Anyways, once I bought like 100 mgs of hydromorphone in the form of Dilly 4's and had reasonably low tollerence at the time. I got this for like 50 bucks. Score I thought, heaven for several days (I was not IVing these at the time but I am one who throughly enjoys snorting hydromorphone).

Anyways, it was cool for like a day. Than allthough the euphoria was going strong and I was buzzing and Nodding off at school it just became to much. It wasn't that people were always asking me if I was ok but rather I missed being able to think strait enough to continue writing my book and if you can belive it the whole being high on heaven to earth inducing opiates just got old.

I have had the same issue with oxycodone. For me, opes can kick ass but they DO get boaring believe it or not. I mean frankly the euphoria jsut becomes a side effect.

Maybe this is just my experience because I love life and myself and thinknig as well as creativity and opes, allthough they make people nice and friendly which is good just take me to much out of the life that I allready love. I mean, i know some would love to be on opes for days at a time or even life but not me. I now jsut get enough fora dose and even after 5 - 6 hrs I wish to return to my normal state of mind.

you have a point and actualy I NEVER just sit and nod except during the first 5 min of a IV hit. But really I just find being detatched from the real state of mind for so long in the manor of which opiates work to be non pleasing.

On a side note. I find Oxycodone to stimulating to down right nod even in high dosses.

i've actually gotten that way with pot. i don't smoke nearly as much as i used to. every time i do it seems like i just want to go right to sleep. for some reason though i never get tired of alchahol.

Pot and beer are really the only tried hard true non boredom of drugs.

Everything goes to shit after you start doing it for awhile and it just feels like shit after you take the drug. Coke makes me feel like complete shit. E is getting 50/50 of a trip. And heroin is just bad......

But you could always get better/moar shit.....

I would not say that you get more creative. I would say that it makes you focus on specific aspects of life that you may not normally focus on. By this I mean if you normally are not happy and than are focused exclusively on happy things than it may be interpreted as being more creative but in reality you are simply thinking in a way you normally do not. I am not sure if this makes much sense as I am currently thoroughly drunk.

Eh, weed gets boring.

I save my drugs for the weekends, but most of you cunts wouldn't know anything about partying/friends.

I used to smoke weed every day, in the school year. Like, before school, sometimes at lunch, then afterschool, then at night. And of course every weekend along with alcohol.

Right now that it's summer.. I spent maybe the first 2 weeks high all day. I was worthless, literally felt so bored of being stoned and accomplishing nothing.

So I quit for like 2 weeks, then my friend got caught and gave me his weed so I smoked for a little while, but now that it's gone I just smoke with friends.

I don't get tired of alcohol EXCEPT the morning after I always swear never to do it again, but it's just too fun to quit. Alcohol is so much more social, and you take chances and just have a good time.

I hate the feeling of too drunk though, I like to maintain my vision, so that's the cutoff point for me.. Of course it's just so easy to say fuck it.

Alcohol and cigarettes, I can say I'm really tired of them... I've been tryin to stop smoking for a while now.

I feel this way when I'm spoiled and have access to good drugs for too long. Then I try to quit and go into detox mode and remember why I never quit.

Sick of smoking cigarettes, and after my summer harvest, I'm sticking to just vaporizing and smoking tree.

If I get the urge to smoke a square, I figure I can always just pack a little hitter, since the weed will be so plentiful.

I can't imagine paying fifty cents for a smoke, or spending $10 a day if I was a pack-a-day smoker.

I usually keep it down around 3-5 a day for myself these days, with a little dip here and there. I try to mainly stick to dip when I "need" a bit of nicotine because I tend to do a lot more swimming and physical training these days and smoking does not go hand-in-hand with those things. Neither does Adderall, actually; took a decently sized dose a few weeks ago, and half an hour later decided it'd be a good time to hit the pool outside my condo and get a bit of laps in.

Fairly confident now I can somewhat relate to what having a heart attack would feel like...

If you've reached this point, its life you're bored with. Not "drugs", whatever those are being limited to in this definition.

Make your life better.

I don't think it is as simple as that but you have a point to some extent.
