i just dosed 2 hits of what is supposed to be damn fine acid and i cant decide after 2 hours now if im tripping or not. my buddy that i bought a vial of this shit with told me last time he took this acid he didnt start tripping for 4 hours then fried. so i'm sitting here, calling him to see if he's trippin every hour or so and we both cant tell. i definitely felt way off about 30 minutes after me and my friend were dropping these hits on candy and i figured i probably got some on my skin but i wasnt sure so i took 2 legit hits from the vial. i have tripped 4 times before this and gotten bunk hits once. so totse, is there such a thing as acid with a 4 hour onset or did i get i vial of shit?

If I was told that I was taking LSD, and it was taking four hours to kick in, I'd start feeling a fairly suspicious.

Can you describe any of the other effects of the drug? What was the duration of the trip? What sensations did it deliver? That could narrow it down, or possibly aid in alleviating some doubt.

look at ur curtains when the start swishin back and forth ur trippin..

It sucks to be ripped off dude but there are a couple "benifits" to this. Firstly , you know that con artists are out there and not to buy from said cunt/s again:P

More importantly tohugh, the fact that you thought oyu maybe felt something shows that you can really obtain deep emotional and intulectual states during sobriety and depending on just how you felt maybe you have learned that you are a rather creative person. see this as a triamph of sorts and get ready for you'r next REAL psychedelic experience with the knowledge that you will have a very deep trip as you probably have a good mind to use during the trip. Also, if you are indeed a deep person and seeking a great experience with psychs maybe you sohuld look into sprituality of sorts that doesnt even involve drugs. the longest onset I´ve had was two hours before anything started, but damn it was good in the end.
not about your case, but generally speaking; it´s fucked up to get fake shit, but clearing out your mind (don´t think if it´s real or something else every second, among other things coming with mind clearance) sets the real thing on fire. especially with a joint as a method of waking up LUCY.

On a somewhat related note, I absolutely can't stand it when you drop your tabs and maybe notice some very slight threshold effects in the next 8 hours. And then your friends are all acting like they are tripping and you tell them "guys... we're not tripping, calm down." And all the sudden you're the asshole for being honest. It's really fucking frustrating.

Thankfully I have never been in this situation but I can imagine it sucks ass and it seems highly disrespectful especially regarding a drug like lsd. If it was like you all ate pot cookies that may be different/understandable :p

I have always been lucky. Well, I got completely fake shit once (but it was only 1 hit) but all authentic stuff I have ever gotten was fantastic.

I'm not too familiar with Dox, or acid for that matter. I've only done it a handful of times. Though a couple nights later, with the same long on-setting stuff, we were blotting it from the vile and I got a couple hits worth on my skin and fried that night as well, just through absorption.
