The question I ask doesn't nececarily concern a spefic drug yet rather drugs in genral.

As we all know drugs pose the potential to cause a wide variety of problems or inconvience. They can make one spend more than they should thus possibly causing one to commit crimes to fund their habit or beomce homless or simply flat out broke which sucks black pope's cock (not fun). They could also perhpaes end you up in hosptial which means you would be taking up a bed that could casue another person big trouble and the whole situation could have been avoided had you not taken drugs. There are MANY other possible situations such as simply hurting those who care for you and putting stress on ones relations but I ask the following.

When taking drugs do oyu take them in a manpor or avoid certain drugs at certain times that you feel could cuase you'rself or OTHERS undue hardship or inconvience. Do you give a shit about others and give lots of thought about weither it is really fair for you to get high or do you say fuck it, it is MY LIFE and I am going to live ti how I want and to hell with others and just hope for the best? Allternatively do you sort of pick and choose and say "Well, maybe some may be offended by my using drugs but maybe becasue they are un educated but i will not dose in a manor that could possibly result in me costing the health care system or hurting others". Like, do oyu actualy take into consideration that doing certain drugs or to much of a drug could end u up in hospital and result in you costing the system or perhapes not drink and drive even though it may be fun as others may get hurt or simply do you jsut od what you want ot do. In the end I am asking, do you try to use drugs in a manor that causes others and society minimal harm or do oyu simply jsut od what you feel like and hope for the best or not even hope at all ?

I'm an asshole. I do drugs in a way that they don't inconvenience ME. I wouldn't take 20mg of xanax NOT because I don't want to see my family suffer or a lengthy hospital bill, but because having my stomach pumped would suck, and I could possibly kill MYSELF.

Most people who end up in the hospital because of drugs deserve to be there, or they were too stupid to realize that they were taking too much. Smoking weed never hurt anyone, and if someone else's weed smoking affects your life then you have a problem minding your own business.

Yes, taking drugs could land any one of us in hospital. Hell, driving a car could land any one of us in hospital. Irresponsible use aside, accidents do genuinely happen, and that's what hospitals are for.

The problem is, it's fairly hard to encourage safe drug-use amongst drug using individuals, when drug-use is touted as unsafe under all circumstances by the powers that be.

Drugs cause little damage on their own, but what damage they do cause is massively inflated by their forced and unjustified prohibition.

a stupid question. we're all breaking the law to maintain habits that we love and trying to find a balance somewhere between the hospital, going broke or going to jail - risking this to have the right to put what we choose in our bodies.

and if doing drugs are what makes you happy, then does it really matter who it effects? i doubt anybody does drugs to intentionally hurt OTHER people, although they could do it to hurt themselves. i personally do it because its what I feel like doing at the time, and as long as i dont end up killing myself, ill be fine.

Anyway, my drug use and my drug habit do not inconvenience me or the people around me. The drug that I've got a "problem" with is by prescription, but I usually get high from extra drugs I buy elsewhere. If I don't have money, I don't get high. I just take my prescribed drug (One or two just to keep from getting sick) and go about my business. The only times I've ended up in the hospital from drug use were intentional.
