I'll admit that I happen to be fairly prejudiced at times but I can assure you that in the drug trade it's usually pretty equal all the way around. Back when this uh, guy I knew was getting between 4-6 ounces of weed a week he was doing it through a black guy, and the prices, quality, and consistency were better than several "reliable" white dealers who were went through in the past.

If you and your three buddies from the 'burbs go down to the hood sticking out like sore thumbs, you're going to get scammed, 9 times out of 10. But that's the case anywhere. Dealers aren't dumb, not all of them at least, and the ones who are crooked and like taking money from suckers are pretty well-versed in picking their victims out of a crowd.

If you know how to conduct yourself according to your situation and use your head and your instincts in shady situations, you're going to save yourself a hell of a lot of hassle and heartache. All of this could be avoided by using a trusted dealer, but hey, shit happens and sometimes I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures....
