Yeah I have done it before. Yes, it works but you have to use the right kind of poppy seeds. Some of them come already washed and treated without any opium. The kind I had (I believe it was McCormicks) worked. I got extremely sick and puked but after that it felt like I had taken 4-5 percocet. Just make sure you do it right and get the correct brand and it should work.

I've tried poppy seed tea before, and i wasn't sick.
Mix it with concentrated orange juice or something and it goes down fine.

Sorry but you're pretty wrong. Since the alkaloids are so fucking water soluble, you can use cold water and not get any of the bad shit (poppy oils) and probably not throwup. Plus you can just smoke some weed with that shit to kill any possible nausea.

you can make the tea without hot water? all you do is just powder the seeds up put them in cold water and then filter out later? damn i'm thinking about doing this, though you can't boil it down to a small amount so that might be hard to drink

1) plant seeds(make sure they're the rihgt ones)
2) wait for plants to grow
3) read up on harvesting opium, b/c I'm not gonna type it. I havent looked, but SN (despite the name) is probably correct on this stuff.
4) smoke your opium, make tea from the pods.

I tried it once, it didn't get me sick or anything, but I didn't get very high off of it either.
