Sure the ammount of work and extreem pleasure brought to you by dexedrine and methamphetamine is great. The pounding heart and sudden fall of dopamine is not though.

I think stims can be fucking stupid as why have all this fun nad power only to be raped in the ass when they wear off. I am of the mind that says since the leave you feeling like a used condom that they are not worth the (all be it great) buzz that they produce.

This is strictly my oppinion and I realise that not much info can be gained form this but i wanted some oppinions. Hell I almsot feel stims owuld be better if you got the crash first and THAN got high :(

Stims make me too moody, I enjoy them if I'm taking them so I can focus during something specific, but the lack of sleep and appetite make it crappy for me.

I have a bad heart condition which is from excessive stimulant use. So in my opinion its not fucking worth it, take some opiates/opiods if you want some euph.

I used to enjoy them before oc's came around get you just as high without being geeked out. and ur awake.

Stimulants can be worth it on occasion, but from my experience doing too much coke in a night makes you hyper focused on just doing coke, when some opiates would make for a much more pleasant evening. Really depends on how much stimulants.

I did A and the like for then years on a regular basis. now it´s only on the special ocation level.

On special occasions yes, the high is definitely worth it. Used regularly, no.

i've only done dextroamphetamine and no not worth it...only worth it the first time, god the first time was probably one of my favorite drug experiences, i stayed up all night talking with my friend about the world and shit... EVERYTIME after that it caused no euphoria just stimulation, just made me real zoned out, horrible comedown... and it takes me 80-100 mgs to get where i want to so fuck that....i wonder if meth is just as useless as a recreational drug as well.

What sucks about stimulants is if you don't want to kill somebody or yourself it's almost required to have a downer on hand. I don't like drugs that make me have to have another drug to comedown.

Well, It's a nice high, but I hear it fucks with your heart. Long term or heavy use seems to fuck people up pretty badly.

I was up tweaking for a while last week and when I came down, it felt like my heart was feeling little waves of electricity
and I couldn't sit still(obviously) and had a super awareness kinda thing of my heart. I looked up the symptoms and it sounded like ventricular fibrillation , which apparently is pretty deadly. I was scared as FUCK. I'm done with stims I think.

Only thing i don't like is the shortness of the high, and how much it costs.

Opiates...I don't like them that much either. OC's make me feel good for about an hour, then I just want to lay down or I'll start feeling sick, and I'll eventually not be able to keep my eyes open and fall asleep; waking up the next day feeling like crap...

The only drug I've found to be worth it on the long run is weed.

A person can change allot after a period of time, sobriety and genral self introspection. Plus allthough this is totse people are reasonable and good posting can certainly qualify one for redemption. I don;t mean ot sound like a cock but lets keep things on topic.

As far as some responces allready go. I do not really care for stims in the end as I think people should use drugs to obtain a high more effective/pleasant state of existance for a period of time and as far as I am concerned I don't feel that ending up in a less desirable state at the end of the experience is worth it as far as the experience on body and mind goes. Stims can be tools for certain circumstnaces but those are not common circumstnaces and I feel it is sick for people to encourge there consumption for everyday activties such as school and work as those are things one should learn to master in a normal state of mind if they wish ot succed as a person.

No, they aren't worth it to me. The way I see it, if I think I NEED, to be stimulated, hehe, I'll take caffeine, or drink an herbal tea or something, but franky, I'm awake enough as it is.

I like things down low and slow. Life's only so short, and you only get so many heartbeats in the end, why burn em' up :)

I don't favor stims. The high isn't worth the crash. If I need to stay up for some reason, modafinil is much more practical. If I need to flit around twitching like a madman I just wait for the manic bus to come 'round.

Did anyone notice that the first few times they took stims even in relatively high dosses that they didn't crash. Rather the effects simply wore off and the only aspect of the crash was insomnia but on depression ? I noticed tihs with dex amp .

Seeing as I don't percieve the effects of the entire stimulant class as a "high," generally, I also don't get the crash... since it's usually a result of a dose which would cause what are, to me, unpleasant side-effects.

So... no. Question not applicable. I enjoy the crap out of thujone, though, and tend to avoid it because of its crash, so that might apply. Then again? I could also take away its having a crash at any time. I have no idea whether or not I will make a decision whether to do so, or just avoid it.

Firstly, I enjoy sleep WAY WAY too much and these drugs fuck with my sleep schedule very bad. I'm up for work every Monday - Friday at 4:30am and doing coke or speed on a worknight usually is pretty disasterous.

I do enjoy a weekend binge, every so often. Not more than 3-4 times a year.

The hangover / day after / comedown is always a bitch for me and sometimes I feel worse than others.

Why would anyone do stimulants as recreational drugs? It's not fun to feel like that.

My thoughts exactly. Mentally, physically and lets not forget that amps are just plain bad for you. Allthough I admit while it lasts and ignoring the damage that it is doing the euphoria is indeed fantastic but I hate how they kill creativity and free thinking. These are two things that contribute greatly to ones individuality. They are two of the traits that I look for in people and find can make people who have them to be worth while additions to the world and great people to be around. Personally I don't see sacraficing free thinking and creativity for any high is really worth it.

On a side note. I do like opes even though they tend to slow thinking but even in high dosses they do nothing like what those god damned pieces of kiddie crack do. It just makes me sick seeing adults encouraging the consumption of drugs that control thinking and than placing restrictons on drugs that promote free thinking. God damn, I am going to end this comment now in the interest of my blood preasure but I cant explain how furious I get when I think of all the kids being "medicated" with this poision.

I was never on ritalin. On my own volition I tried dexedrine that I obtained from a friend in Gr 9. It was the first drug that I actualy tried and I loved it. After a few times doing it I realised the drug produced major side effects (not just good ones) and used it only on occasion. Eventuallythough even after multi month breaks I found I would twitch like crazy and my pulse would jump to around 150 - 160 and stay there all day and that is NOT GOOD or worth it. Worrying about a brain anezurism (SP) isnt exactly going to keep oyu focused on your work and in the end I said fuck this and made it a goal to learn how to be productive without the aide of the drug. And know what ? It took allot of effort but I learned in the end. True I can't stay up for 2 nights pumping out a thousand words in half an hour or find math as fun as I did you'r mom ;) but I can live with that knowing that I wont have wrecked my head with amps.
