Appart from booze, the two big "party drugs" for the average joe. In the U.K. at the moment, they're both incredibly popular - coke cos it mixes with booze, has fallen in price, and seems to be everywhere, and E because pure MDMA powder is freely available, even though the pills are crap.
Obviously it's gona depend on whether you've had good stuff before, and personally, i've never had AMAZING coke - very good stuff, yeh. I definitely prefer being gurned up on E when i'm with friends though... the comedown is worth it, and people feel so much more at ease. I do coke occasionally, and almost always people have this adhd-child urge to ramble away for ages, and not be interrupted. Most people realise what they're doing, and seem to chill out after a joint and a beer, but you get some right nauseatingly arrogant wankers who are attracted to coke (especially selling it...) in my experience. It's still fucking expensive in the U.K, think $120 for a gram of really good stuff, which is a fucking rip off, considering it's really just a bit of energy, euphoria and confidence boosted for about half an hour.
I never feel like i've "learnt" much from coke, it's fun to party, and if someone else's paying, it's kinda hard to say no, but there's somethin' about it that's pretty unsatisfying, quite apart from the cost. Ecstasy, when taken irregularly always makes me feel i can learn a bit more, that i've connected, that I can improve friendships... that I can change my life however I want, really....
So BLTC, which do you prefer? I know a hell of a lot of people prefer coke, just because it's easier to do it regularly, for a variety of reasons. Probably "both!" for some of you drug-monsters, right? I'm intrigued...

Unless the cocaine is of VERY high quality, I'd choose MDMA.
Mixing them was great for an hour then it kinda killed my roll when the blow wore off. Not recommended. Heart was going quick, too!

Green doves over a few lines of coke anyday, but I like em both. The coke high doesn't really last long enough for my liking.
E is cheaper as well because tons of people sell it where I am.
Coke when I go out clubbing, E when raving.
I had some REALLY good coke while I was living in Venezuela for the last 4 months though.

MDMA every fucking time hands down. I've had amazing coke, but it still doesn't compare to MDMA in its crystalline form.
For me, this is how it works:
Coke:
Pros:

*goes well with alcohol in that it makes you more alert and focused.
*talking shit to your friends is fun.
*aesthetically it's fun to do considering the rituals involved.
Cons:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*it's incredibly over priced and equally impure.
*it inflates your ego, often resulting in huge arguments for absolutely no reason with the people you're closest to.
*it's very addictive, although I find that it appeals more to certain types rather than everyone.
*it doesn't last very long, considering what you pay and in relation to other drugs.
*I've seen it completely change people for the worse with continuous and frequent use.
*my body aches for days after a heavy binge.
*if you get good shit, you WILL NOT sleep.
*putting shit up your nose is WRONG!
*etc, etc, etc, etc...
MDMA: (crystals, not pills that are often mixed with speed or meth)

If I take around 250mg of MDMA I can go for hours. Any more than that, though, and it's tricky. Plus, yes, girls on E get horny as fuck :D!

Definitely E over coke. Coke can be a good time, but for a short period of time, and when it's all gone I feel like absolute shit, and wish I had never done it. That's not the case with E, other than maybe not being able to get right to sleep, and being a little out of it the next day. E wins.

Crimsonsmoke pretty much summed things up perfectly, although it does depend on the situation.
I've personally never found coke to make me argue with people, when I'm zooted I mostly just go around and explain in very fast, detailed speeches why I love everyone.
Doing coke with your best bros and just chilling is amazing. Those were some of the best nights of my life.
However, MDMA (if used sparingly) has almost no bad effects and the euphoria is unbeatable. I can't really think of anything better than going to a great show or rave while on some pure molly and just dancing the night away.
MDMA and coke are both great but molly is almost always preferred for me.

Coke, for me, has always been associated with money: the large price tag and the typical use of monetary notes for insufflation. It creates a boosted superficial self-perception that can only be equated to the egos of powerful and rich men. The rituals required - cutting up a line - represent a world built on tight organisation and precise haste. For the duration of the experience you can be this person; and I suppose this is what gets you in the end; this is what brings people back for more. The ironic thing is that, if used to excess, it turns you into the opposite of your coked-up delusions.
I don't recommend it.

MDMA Any day! Price, dosage, duration and that glorious loved up tripped out feeling hands down. I love the way you truly love everything and everyone that's around you, the way everything moves, tastes and feels. Iv only really taken it at raves but that is what makes it sooo much more special and worth waiting for and the feeling of coming up is second to none. Coke has some great feelings and all that but its just not my thing as well as being too damn expensive for me. Id rather buy a g of MDMA and have either three amazing nights for me or one even better night for me and 2 of my closest mates! Whereas If I get some coke im looking at a paying the same amount for a fairly good evening before spending the rest of the night feeling like shit.
There is nothing I dont like about E, I don't even mind the gurning that much. The only thing I don't like is how oblivious I am to how messy I look although at a rave nobody gives a fuck anyway.

Coke costs between £40 and £50 (per g) depending on where you live. Pills range and vary dramatically; although they're often 3 for £10 (since you're always going to need more than one). MDMA costs between £30 and £40 (per g) depending on where you live, and a g usually splits into between 10 and 16 doses.
I know what I'd rather choose.

Coke's got so much money in it, from the huge supply, everyone's just keen to make money with the stuff, as people from all economic backgrounds are hoovering' it up. Anyone else agree it's seen as more "respectable" now than ecstasy? All the tossers from the City earning fucking loads and blowing it all on drink and coke so they can chat "sophisticated" shit. Yeh right.... at least Es honest; you get rushed to the moon off your face, have a great time, come down and feel crappy for a while... there's less false illusions, for me anyway. Well, aside from the "omg i've found my new bestest friend!" stuff, but hey that's all good fun.
It's like that actress who said... "coke isn't addictive, trust me I would know, i've been doing it for years!" Kinda sums it up pretty well for some people. It's nice having MDMA around, again, clearly as some people are making a LOT of money on it, at supply level, let alone street level (apparently it's only about £300 for an ounce of the stuff nowadays...) but I do miss good pills more, especially as they're mostly MCPP/BZP wank, now. MDMA can feel "too" clean, and it's not always as active as a good pill with a MDA/MDMA/bit o' speed mix. Sure, the pill will have a worse comedown, but it gets things crazy and buzzing, which can be great when you're out to party :D
...talking of weird though, last time I did MDMA I had this "cyclist" hallucination, which just wouldn't go away for about half an hour. This little dude on a bike, formed from like... dashes in the air - - - - - just wouldn't go away. It made me laugh so hard, being "followed".... :p

I actually disagree with something somebody posted before, lately pills have been much better in the UK than they were 4 or 5 years ago.
When I first moved here I used to get the occasional dodgy batch, in the past two years or so though I've only encountered decent Es, I don't really do them that much anymore since pure mdma is much better and as easy to get, but when I do them they're always quite clean.
I think the market is just saturated though, I've had mdma dealers giving me free Es just because they're so cheap these days and they get them for free when buying mdma in bulk.

Lulz :D. Once, a mate of mine thought that everyone in the entire room was wearing sun glasses - trust MDMA for bizarre hallucinations...
Edit: and I'm not saying that you can't find good pills, but I haven't found any for a long time. Furthermore, even if you did find decent pills where I live, I'd still choose MDMA since it's often more pure. I'd even go as far as to say that pills suck at the moment.

However if I had to do something the next day I would choose coke not MDMA. MDMA just leaves me feeling ruined for the next day.

You're near Brighton aren't you? Do you remember the Rolex's? Two batches, one was amazing, one was terrible. When buying them, I'd get 5 for a tenner and 3 would be the good one's and 2 bad. You can't trust a print for shit man, the only way to tell the difference was when crushing them, one batch was rock solid, the other crumbled really easily. I guess it's all subjective - personal experience always defines an individuals outlook, but I don't ever do pills any more because I never know if I'm getting ripped off or not. MDMA all the way.

You're near Brighton aren't you? Do you remember the Rolex's? Two batches, one was amazing, one was terrible. When buying them, I'd get 5 for a tenner and 3 would be the good one's and 2 bad. You can't trust a print for shit man, the only way to tell the difference was when crushing them, one batch was rock solid, the other crumbled really easily. I guess it's all subjective - personal experience always defines an individuals outlook, but I don't ever do pills any more because I never know if I'm getting ripped off or not. MDMA all the way.
