I just got a phone call for some of these boogers. He's wanting about the same price as a 10mg lortab. Is it comparable? Would I get off taking...say 250mg? (i have a high tolerance....I usually take at least 50mg hydrocodone...just to start feeling them)

it is promethazine and meperidine. It will cause more drowiness from the promethazine. 5 of those is going to equal 100mgs of promethazine which is going to make you really drowsy.



it appears 8.3 mgs of demerol= 5mgs of hydrocodone.
that does not sound right though^

So I think 250 sounds about right.'
Duration is very shot, only like 3-4 hours.

I've also done a bit of poking around and found two stories of people having seizures from this. Is that a common thing? I've had a seizure from tramadol (yea, i know) and it wasn't very pleasant....even though i was being retarted -- I took around 2.5g at one time :(

Yeah sorry I did edit. Wow, that is ALOT of tramadol. I would say you shouldn't worry about a seizure unless you get crazy like you did with the tram.

I would be careful since you will be taking some rather semi large doses of prometh. Just because it is a sedative and can increase respitory depression.

wow, thanks a lot. I took three(150/75...yea, its 50/25 not */20) about 45 mins ago. I'm just starting to feel it a tiny bit. I'll probably take two more and see what happens.

Be very careful with anything containing Meperidine (Demerol) in it!

Your body turns most of it into pethidinic acid/norpethidine which is very neurotoxic at moderate-high levels! Definitely not the best drug to try and chase a high on.

The toxic effects mediated by the metabolites cannot be countered with opioid receptor antagonists such as naloxone or naltrexone and are probably primarily due to norpethidine's anticholinergic activity probably due to its structural similarity to atropine though its pharmacology has not been thoroughly explored. The neurotoxicity of pethidine's metabolites is a unique feature of pethidine compared to other opioids.
